Fox News' Special Report noted that "in recent days, Thompson's aides promoted him as a vice presidential pick." Romney was the first to weigh in." Asked if Thompson would be on his "shortlist," Romney answered, "Anybody who ran for office in this field is a very strong individual and should be considered as a VP nominee for me or somebody else. He is a terrific and highly capable guy."

We need Fred to keep the RINOs on a short leash!
Pawlenty is on the global warming bandwagon, pandering to the eco-freaks, according to Jason Lewis.
Oh. Well in my case I plan on voting for Alan Keyes since one liberal is as bad as another. My conscience will be clear. U.S. Army Retired |
Blunt would be good. He’s truly conservative, and he’d be about 46 at the end of two terms.
Giggle.
Condi doesn’t want it, but I bet Michael Steele would.
“...but Id much rather see a VP candidate with a political future beyond that office”
Oh I dunno, it seemed to work w/Cheney as VP.
So all we have to do while the country slowly sinks is beat the Democrats?
Puhhhhhhleze. You should know better after what happened when we elected a RINO in California. Arnold has wrecked the CAGOP.
McCain VS Hillary, I go with Hillary
McCain VS Obama, I wo with Obama
Why? Either one would mess up our country and I rather have the mess blamed on the DEMS. That simple!
You act as if there is a GOP in CA. What are the numbers there? 36 % registered? And what? They all reside in Northern California?
My point is Democrats don’t have VP’s that wind up as President...I am shocked we have so many Senator’s winning and leading races for President right now as it is. This country usually votes Governors for Prez.
I am not an Arnold fan at all by the way.
Yes he would, in a heartbeat.
What do info do you have to prove this?
Yes!
Somebody sees the work of the MSM as it is. ; )
Well, I really don’t have to prove it. But I haven’t ever heard anyone saying “no” to a vice presidency of the United States, a position that’s just a heartbeat away from the top job.
That is Romney’s political M.O. He always says what he thinks people want to hear. That is why he has so many opposing positions on the same things.
Do you think that a true RINO is leash-able to do what is right by conviction?
(thinking to myself...maybe I have the opportunity to sell one of those oceanfront properties in AZ)
Better a leash of some kind, rather then none at all.
I strong influencing conservative voice in the ear of the President is not a bad thing.
