Not any better, but no worse. This week will likely tell the tale with my dad. It’s pretty certain he can’t go home and, if he can be brought up to a little better than he is now, then we’ll shift him to a nursing facility (not a nursing home, per se, but a place to try therapy and make sure he has the close care his current condition requires). If they can’t achieve that level with him then it’s likely that we’ll lose him fairly soon, just a matter of when.
We’re getting set to “reboot” my treatment since 9 months worth of what they had been trying hasn’t made any progress and there’s still no explanation for the weight loss. I start a new round of tests on Tuesday, starting with a CAT scan (mmmmmmm, drinking a big glass of barium... yuck) followed by an endoscopic examination the week after, where they’ll take tissue of anything and everything for biopsy. We’ll see what comes of those to then try to figure a next step.

McCain is lying about his affect on the surge. He just wanted big numbers of boots on the ground which would have "Americanized" the effort. He is also lying about what Romney actually said about "timetables," as Brit tried to point out over Chris Wallace's efforts to convince everyone that Romney is the liar.
Wallace is openly opposed to Romney.
IMO, because she's been a power mad, vindictive harridan who's complete lack of charm or charisma caused chronic, choking bitterness at having to stand in her husband's shadow for DECADES now....
Her face stuck that way.
There are some things even the best plastic surgeons just can't fix.
McCain acted like a spoiled child because he despised Rumsfeld. All he did was go out and lambaste the man because but of course, McCain should have been the Sec of Defense.
McCain does not have the greater good of either this country or the Republican party in mind. McCain is about McCain. Hillary is all about Hillary only she’s slightly more honest about it.
I'll hold my nose, but vote AGAINST another 4 years of a Clinton co-presidency. The Lincoln bedroom probably couldn't stand another four years of them either.
