Said Bill Clinton today in Columbia, SC: "Jesse Jackson won South Carolina in '84 and '88. Jackson ran a good campaign. And Obama ran a good campaign here."
This was in response to a question about Obama saying it "took two people to beat him." Jackson had not been mentioned.
Boy, I can't understand why anyone would think the Clintons are running a race-baiting campaign to paint Obama as "the black candidate."
I love how the divineness of the Clinton clan is becoming so obvious even the Left can see it.
>>>>Obama does have integrity and a Clinton VP slot would be the end of everything he claims to stand for.
agreed
Ouchie. Worst part is that if Obama complains, Clinton can just say he was paying Obama a compliment. Jack$on WAS Clinton’s “spiritual advisor”, after all.
On another note, we now have confirmed why Hillary moved so soon to get SELECTED as the DNC candidate.
They did that by proxy for eight years, so we shouldn't be surprised.
I hate to say this but, looking at his red, shiny face lately, I tend to agree there's something wrong. It doesn't excuse his behavior, but if he doesn't do something soon, it looks like he's due for a stroke.
Obama? What accomplishments? Hillary? Same question.
Code translation: Nigra's... go figure.
I don’t like his politics, but in my eyes Obama is standing tall above the grotesque filth of the Clintons.
If one of the Republicans can’t win it, I certainly hope he does.
She might tap Edwards for VP. He’s been campaigning with her, and Edwards as VP was already associated in the public consciousness in 2004.
Agreed.
In fact, the best thing Obama can do is to publicly disengage from Billary's ad hominem attacks, giving as his reason that he would prefer to engage the actual CANDIDATE in reasoned debate rather than her husband...unless her husband is trying to win an illegal third term in the White House? He should also make a subtle quip about not wanting to be inadvertently responsible for Clinton having a stroke.
True = that is a possibility. But Edwards really is not very popular. He did not do a lot for Kerry. And he has been this way before.
IMHO - he can easily be bought off by promising him some puffy non-hardworking position in her “administration”....(he has not worked in so long - it has to be a “job” in name only....).
I just think Richardson is the prime VP for Hill (if she is the nominee).
-connects to the illegal immigrant population
-connects to the voters out West
-is a Clintonista
-could run for Pres after H is out of power....gag at the thought of her in power at all...
Edwards is sooooooooooooooooooo Southern. I just don’t think HH would want him as VP.
Totally agree.
We seem to be missing the fact that the race war isn’t between Obama and Hillary, the two Democrat candidates...it’s between Obama and a third party: Hillary’s interfering husband. So...what if Hillary taps one of the Clintons’ old associates to cause a convenient and terminal heart attack in Bill? It’s not like it wasn’t done with impunity while they were co president.
Then she WOULD be free to tap him as VP, because it would be so much easier to kiss and make up for the cameras. The fight wasn’t between THEM, after all.
Just a thought.
Hmmm - you are right / Rush is (of course) right.
Yet Richardson will be campaigning vigorously for her heinous no matter what. Any influence he has over the Hispanic votes he will exercise for her benefit - whether or not he is VP candidate. The Clintons own him.
Unlike Obama....they don’t own him....not yet.
Hmmm...you may be right. Anyone have any ideas who Obama would consider as a running mate?
“Obama probably figures that he can be VP for 4 or 8 years and then run for president again after that. I may be wrong, but this fighting just seems a little too over the top for me.”
I was thinking the same thing. Hillary! can pass this off to Hussein B. Obama under the guise that “AmeriKKKa” is not ready for a black president, so ride it out for 8 years as my veep and then they will be comfortable w/you...and you’ll get the full DNC endorsement...”
Good question. Don’t know.
But I do not believe Obama will be the Demonrat nominee. Even given everything so far.
The Clintonistas are too ruthless for that to be allowed.
Next thing you know he’ll be dropping his pants in front of strangers, asking them to kiss it.
Oh, agreed.
Think Dominatrix / servant boy relationship.
