A President Like My Father...Caroline Kennedy endorses Obama
New York Times ^ | 01/27/2008 | Caroline Kennedy

Posted on 01/26/2008 6:44:42 PM PST by steadcom

OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama...

The saddest of the lot was Pat Nixon IMHO.

I don’t think Nixon messed around but he was as cold as ice towards Pat.

And you’re right about Nancy——she wouldn’t have put up with it.

Pat was a lovely lady, that was for sure. Very sad though. Nixon had to be an iceberg. I have seen pictures of them when he was a young Congressman with their then young daughters. They looked like a very happy young couple. You have to wonder what happened.

And this guy brings to the table, what, Caroline?

A question for you: How do you picture Closeted Muslim Hussein NObomba during a modern-day Cuban missle crisis? Think he will stand tall against our enemies?

You better think long and hard about that dear.

Poor Caroline has bought into the media creation that was Camelot. JFK was/is a hero to people because the media propped him up and covered up many things that today would be rushed onto the front page.

Alan Keyes is an infinitely better speaker and brilliant solid Declaration of Independence constitutional conservative who kicked Obama’s a** up and down Illinois in the Senatorial debate.

But his shortcomings as a politician, the torpedoing of his campaign by the RINO state party chairman, Judas Bah Too-Pinka, the general state of chaos in the Illinois GOP along with a scandal ridden felonious Pubbie governor all combined to make a mockery of the chaotic selection process to replace the resigned senatorial nominee Jack Ryan.

an inexperienced black guy who has never won more than 28% of the vote in any real election for this job? Lets see....He managed to get his state senate seat by getting the incumbent disqualified on a filing date technicality. Then he manage to remain unopposed until he ran for the US Senate. And then he had a four way primary in which he got - was it really only 27% of the vote? And then he won the democratic primary which got him a free ticket to a one of only 100 US Sentorial Seats in America (because a crony judge in Chicago who opened the sealed divorce records of Jack Ryan who was running on the GOP side and effectively decapitated the GOP after their primary was already over). Obama won the US Senate seat of course over the theoreticallly black candidate from Maryland who wanted to use the US Senate race to discuss UN reform and more forceful diplomacy.

And this is the kind of experience in life, politics and elections that a huge part of the democratic party want to pin their futures to???

Obama supports INFANTACIDE. As a state senator in Illinois, he would not vote for a law which would have protected the born alive victims of botched abortions. A nurse working at Christ(?) hospital in a suburb of Chicago had revealed that such babies were placed into a linen closet to die, without medical care. The law was intended to end such practices and give these human beings necessary medical care. Obama said that he feared that this law would undercut the legal rationale for abortion, and therefore he could not support it.

Thios man has the most callous and brutal abortion policy that I have EVER seen from any major presidential candidate.

Hey, you’re preaching to the choir here. I’ve been trying to warm people about his pro-infanticide record every chance I get.

The man is NOT noble, NOT good, NOT someone to look up to. The guy’s a monster pure and simple - anyone who would not give support to babies born - BORN, OUT OF THE MOTHER’S WOMB, HELPLESS INFANTS - deserves scorn and derision. It’s amazing how he has the American sheeple fooled.

And it just amazes me how the “Catholic” Kennedys give their support to such a flagrantly pro-abortion candidate.

Barack Hussein Obama had extramarital relations with an enemy spy, Hollywood starlets, a gun moll and his secretaries? He stole an election with his father’s money (earned in illegal rum-running) and practices crony-ism? I didn’t know that....

You know something. I almost respect his position here. He is honest enough to know there is no difference between killing a baby one day before term, and one day after. At least he's not pretending that the baby magically becomes human at the moment of birth.

Obama reminds her more of her dad than Hillary does since Obama’s the same gender and he learned how to give a good speech. That’s where the resemblance ends. Obama’s politics are different from those of JFK and so are Hillary’s.

I've got news for you: the media still covers up many things, especially when Democrats are involved in nefarious business. Do you think that Vince Foster "committed suicide," as the media would have you believe? Do you think that TWA 800 was just an "accident"? The MSM will frequently parrot the conclusions of government investigators, even though they may be wrong.

Speaking of Alan Keyes, it has long been said that the first black president will be a conservative. Let's hope that turns out to be correct.

I don’t know her sexual bent, but she’s a very RUDE, CYNICAL, AND OBNOXIOUS woman.

She and her husband, two children and Nanny vacationed at a home several Christmass ago in the BVI. Since no one really cared she was there it was no big deal.

However, she would never waive, smile or acknowledge anyone. She left early since the “accommodations” were not to her liking.

What a Brat!

From what I'm reading on Wikipedia, she runs some very partisan and politically motivated operations. She's director of the Commission on Presidential Debates (CPD). The League of Women Voters withdrew their support of the debates due to the CPD's shady practices. Even someone on NPR called their debates "a reckless endangerment of democracy". She also set up a Democrats-only presidential candidates' debate at the John F. Kennedy Library Foundation (of which she is the president) in Dec 2007.

No mention of any educational-related work, other than the NAACP Legal Defense and Educational Fund, of which she is also the director. Could that be what she's talking about?
