New York Times ^ | 01/27/2008 | Caroline Kennedy

Posted on 01/26/2008 6:44:42 PM PST by steadcom

OVER the years, I’ve been deeply moved by the people who’ve told me they wished they could feel inspired and hopeful about America the way people did when my father was president. This sense is even more profound today. That is why I am supporting a presidential candidate in the Democratic primaries, Barack Obama...

He could have been tried posthumously for murder...

Despite all the wacko decisions of federal courts in recent years, none has yet given the OK to a criminal trial of a deceased defendant. I'm sure you are being purely hypothetical with that statement.

BTW, I do think there is a possibility of sabotage in JFK Jr.'s plane crash. Even idiots can be crime victims, especially one who might have been thinking about running for the same Senate seat which HRC had cast her eyes on.

However, what do we know about him other than he is for "change"?

Exactly. Hitler, too, was for "change", and he did in fact change Germany and the world much for the worse.

I would agree that the Dems will undoubtedly nominate HRC this year. However, her poor showing among blacks in SC means that that she could have big problems with that voting bloc in November. It would portend that a large number of blacks will “go fishing” on Election Day, much to the detriment of Her Royal Thighness’ hopes.

If Ms. Kennedy is a lesbian, she’d be one of the very few prominent Dem lesbians not supporting Hitlery!

The Clintons control the party Party machinery, and they have torn up the Party over race. It will only get worse. Get your popcorn out.

I only hope that the 'Rats are "torn up" so badly that we can get the champagne out come November.

This is about preservation of Camelot and the Kennedy dynasty, nothing more.

The Clintons, given a second presidency, represent the biggestthreat to that dynasty.

Your points about the Dems' violence and union thug mentality are right on target. Throughout the twentieth century, organized crime's political involvement has been about 90% with the Democrats. And never had organized crime's political clout reached such high levels as it did during the Clinton regime.

Well, you're wrong. There is no possibility. Zero, I say. (And BTW when I flew, I flew from CDW a mile from my house where JFK Jr took off from on his final flight, and flew over the spot where JFK Jr went down dozens of times. I've flown there at night. I have an IFR rating. And you?) Since you seem to know so much about this why don't you make a fool of yourself and pray tell us what might have been done to the plane to sabotage it.

If Obama looks like he's going to win, I wonder if he may have an "accident."

Or perhaps a "suicide," like Vince Foster!

Excellent post about what happens generally when and where Dems have power. The decadence of big cities ruled by ‘Rat machines over most of the twentieth century is Exhibit A.

Count on it. Dems ALWAYS turn their violent wrath on eachother. I always say Republicans don’t WIN elections, Democrats LOSE them.

Growing up a Dem, I saw the violence first hand, especially the violence against women. The Party actually CONDONES violence saying, “the ends justifies the means.” They always govern by THREATS OF MAYHEM, IF YOU DON’T GO ALONG WITH THEM. Eventually, they turn it on themselves, as you are siing now with Hillary and Obama.

LBJ even looked like a lecher.

I loved Lady Bird, though. Imagine living with Lyndon all of those years-—positively frightening.

Given the S. Carolina outcome it appears won’t vote for a woman.

And the Clintons cannot put the tootpaste back into the tuble.

Racial politics has been institutionalized in every aspect of society.

Amen. And that “ big city “ Demonrat corruption has now seeped down here in the South into our State government in NC bigtime. Our top Dem legislator was indicted and CONVICTED (finally) of selling votes for campaign donations and is in jail. But he is just the tip on the corruption iceberg that is now NC Demonrat politics. We are the most highly taxed state in the Southeast now - with no sign of a letup. Our taxes will likely soon match those of the N.East Liberal havens.

And yet they can’t pave our roads!!!!!!

Lyndon loved Lady Bird, too, and she loved him. She put up with it, saying something about his affairs being nothing but, “flies on the wedding cake.” I loved Lady Bird too, and like Jackie, she deserved better. Democrat wives seem to put up with it. I could not even fathom NANCY REAGAN putting up with anything like that.

You are correct, and gender politics are rampant. People would not really have a problem electing a woman President... just HILLARY.
