That question to Rudy was really hitting below the belt. The MSDNC “moderators” were true to their core belief that all republicans deserve to be insulted.

It’s hard for me. I’ve been involved in the pro-life movement since before I went to college. I’ve done the abortion clinic pickets, the handbills, the march for life. It’s always been a serious issue for me.
However, I do cut non-politicians a lot of slack on the subject. So many people I talk to have simply never thought about it, because they never HAD to think about it. They don’t make decisions, they never had an abortion, or knew anybody who did. They just thought “let the woman choose” sounded like the right answer.
Many people, when confronted with reality and forced to actually make a decision, come to the pro-life side, because it’s the right side.
Maybe that’s why I’m so accepting of pro-life conversions — I’ve seen so many. I’ve seen men of my own age who say they are pro-choice, but a 10-minute talk and they realise they need to be pro-life.
My church is very involved as well, sponsoring women’s clinics, some of our people work in those clinics, we also have the woman who works in our county’s abstinence program, we do the life-chains, anyway we get regular reports of girls who come in scared of their parents, frightened for the future, told by everybody that they should just abort their baby, but knowing deep down that it just isn’t right.
Anyway, I’ve rambled.

Mitt’s too purty for politics? I think he’s the smartest guy running and your critique of him is just your impression. If you don’t find him approachable, you must not get out much.

I’m scared, Romney being a populist, that he’ll say anything to look good. And after a few months of peer pressure on the DC cocktail circuit he’ll be begging the libs and MSM to look good.
God Help Us.

More sour grapes....all you do is whine.

Indeed, Reagan was great with one liners and also an astute businessman who was patently optimistic.
It’s morning in America ring any bells?

If you’re looking for a cat fight, there’s plenty of that on the Dim side. Our candidates are mature, intelligent adults.

I’ll still give him partial credit for pointing out that WMD can be moved and hidden in surrounding states.

“But the legend of Romney will kill him dead...and when past indiscresions and skeletons in the closet are exposed...they will be treated like he murdered Mother Teresa...”
You know, you really have a psychological problem that needs addressing. You do not exhibit normal behavior. What you have typed in your comment here is borderline sick. I suggest a visit to a shrink might be in order.

Romney did NOT avoid the draft. He received a deferment for his Mormon mission in France, then drew a high draft number on his return. Anyone who thinks Romney was trying to save his own rear with the time in France must admit it didn’t work out that way. French drivers turned out to be more dangerous than most military service. Romney was literally pronounced dead in France, had “Il est mort” written on his passport, by a French cop after a traffic accident. His family was even told he was dead. Obviously the cop was wrong, but the woman sitting next to Romney did die and Mitt had a long hospital stay.
