When you identify yourself as a "progressive Democrat," a lot of inferences are drawn, usually justifiably so. Many of those traits are unequivocally anti-scriptural. Do you expect them to be celebrated by evangelicals?

I don't go to church. But I would look at a progressive democrat like they have a demon in them. Because progressive democrat says socialist or communist leaning ideas to me.

Because you do! At least some level of oppression if not possession. Christian and Progressive have no part with one another, because after all, love of Christ is shown by our obedience to His word.

About eight years ago my daughter told me that God had laid on her heart to pray daily for Bill Clinton, and she has, faithfully. It raises a few eyebrows when she does it during a group prayer. Some of us Evangelicals definitely aren’t perfect. I’ll leave it at that.
