Brokaw: My Most Conservative Friend Might Vote for Hillary
NewsBusters ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 01/23/2008 6:25:59 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

Tom Brokaw says his most conservative friend has told him he might vote for Hillary Clinton. I for one believe the former NBC News anchor. Hillary supporters might indeed constitute the rightward fringe of his friend set.

The revelation occured on today's Morning Joe.

I’m conservative, more so than Brokaw’s most conservative friend, and I’d rather eat a live grenade than to vote for Hillary.

I’m conservative, more so than Brokaw’s most conservative friend, and I’d rather eat a live grenade than to vote for “ McCain “!!!!

Tom Brokaw is a commie always has been and as far as I am concerned this story is a plant to support Hillary’s commie campaign

Does anyone know, is Brokaw a close personal friend of the Clinton's?

"disgusted"

Yes, but how does being disgusted with the Republican field translate into voting for someone, Hillary, who would be far worse than any Republican? The logic of that "reasoning" boggles my mind. There has to be other factors involved that your friends aren't telling you.

Doesn’t surprise me. His most conservative friend is Tom Daschle or perhaps Dan Rather.

"Tom Brokaw says his most conservative friend has told him he might vote for Hillary Clinton."

The laugh of the day! Like Brokaw would have a friend any more conservative than Vladamir Putin. LOL!

Actually, now that I think of it, I might vote for Hillary, if McCain is the GOP nominee. Hillary might actually be to the right of McCain.

"liberal colleague"

I have a very liberal step daughter (plus she's a lawyer) who was set to vote for McCain in 2000. She was all for him up to 2007 until Hillary announced her candidacy. Now she is a devoted Hillary supporter. I don't know what that says, but I think a lot of Dem women who weren't crazy about male Dem candidates can't wait to vote a semi-commie woman into power.

As Pauline Kael once wrote, disbelieving the outcome of the Nixon-McGovern election of 1972, “Nixon can’t have won; no one I know voted for him.”

Yup, just like all the letters and email around the last election that started of “ I used to be a republican but . . .” While there certainly many conservatives unhappy with our current choices, none of them would ever vote for Hillary.

I think the far more accurate statement would have been, “my most liberal friends are thinking about voting for Obama:.

Just another staged comment set up by the Hillary camp. No conservative would vote for Hillary.

“Conservative” a GOOD word, Tom. It doesn’t belong in the same sentence with the first name of Monica Lewinski’s boyfriend’s wife.

Oh, sorry, Tom. I forgot. You wouldn’t know the truth if it hit you between the eyes. “Conservative” is probably the word you use for your socks and your haircuts.

Dweeb.

This is just one more attempt by the MSM to promote Hillary Clinton and destroy conservative morale. Tom Brokaw doesn’t have any conservative friends. He is simply making this up, probably on orders from the Clintons. Expect to see more of these conservatives are for Hillary Clinton stories.

I don’t know a single conservative (or RINO republican, for that matter) that would vote for her.

I don't know a liberal male who says he will vote for her.

“Brokaw says his most conservative friend has told him he might vote for Hillary. “

That could be read two ways. Depends on who ‘he’ is in the sentence. Could be Brokaw.

Alternate Version:
Brokaw says his most conservative friend has told him he might want to vote for Hillary

I'm all for Clinton, Inc. being the Demagogue nominee.

There's plenty of dirt and plenty of time to use it before November.
