"Columbia University has pulled the professors profile from their website" And, apparently they've pulled the finger of his roommate!

The university is distancing themselves from Clatts saying that he was research affiliated with the associated Mailman school. However a simply search for Clatts (University ID MC2002) succhests that he is an Associate Professor on leave. http://www.mailman.hs.columbia.edu/sms/faculty/clatts.html
My question is whether Ivanov was involved in the Swastikas at teacher's college. Given the communists and neonazis there, I wouldn't be surprised.

Got to be a mistake, Rudy made NYC safe already! And it's been how many years since Rudy was mayor? How long as Bloomberg been in office?
At least he got tough on those evil smokers!

Sounds like a coven of gay, leftist self-haters.
The apartment or the university?

Some serious jumping to conclusions here.
Clatt may be involved, but last I heard he was out of the country on a teaching assignment in Puerto Rico and research assignment in Vietnam.
Sounds like he may have sublet his place to this creepy character.
They may be co-conspirators in some criminality, or they could be just landlord/renter.
I say let’s reserve judgment and let the cops do their work.

Last year, Giuliani commissioned Michael Clatts, a medical anthropologist who has worked with street youth, to study the situation. The report--which detailed in 200 pages the severe bed shortage, government agencies completely unprepared to deal with the number or type of kids, and a potential AIDS crisis-- was mentioned in an AIDS newsletter and on an NPR broadcast in March and was later suppressed. "They were bent completely out of shape in the mayor's office," says Daniel Tietz, the contractor who hired Clatts on behalf of Giuliani's office. "I was essentially told I should call Clatts and tell him 'Any more [leaks to the press] and the city's coming after you.' I had loud arguments about what the fuck is wrong with you? There's stuff in here that all of us can use." No one at the mayor's office was available for comment.

An insomniacs wish come true. ;-) Yeah, bc with the speed of that thing at times, it can put you to sleep just waiting for a page to come up, then finding they don't have it afterall.

IS this the real “breaking bad”?
The new series on AMC about a professor diagnosed with cancer so he goes into the ‘pharmaceutical business’...cooks up meth in his own lab to get financial security for his family before he croaks.
