Louisiana was thought to be a battle between Fred Thompson and Mitt Romney.
Romney has the support of two congressmen and announced teams in every district. It is winner take all by congressional district and majority receives at-large delegates.
It's the only Southern caucus, so conservative conservatives will probablt(sic) turn out.
This is Romney's to lose...
Another gold medal... albeit in the state equivalent of Olympic curling, but still...

Conservative Jews are another group which gets along fine with the conservative mainstream as it uncomfortable when various Christian brands start branding others at cults because they have been such a persecuted minority they don't like seeing it done to others.
Even the Moonies, branded as a cult by many, take responsible conservative political positions. We don't have to attend their church, but we should certainly welcome them as soldiers in a common cause.
~”Romneys going to win over a lot of Dims as well, I think, in the women category.”~
I wonder, will we see it written that there is power crackling from his hair?
I agree with you. Contrary to what the liberals and feminists would have us believe, women generally don’t hate men. Romney is wholesome, and reminds good women everywhere of what they love about their own husbands and fathers.
Clinton generated the “arousal gap” because, it was said, women wanted to have sex with him. I think we’ll see the exact reverse with Romney - many women will be drawn to him because they would love to have a commitment from him.
Women on the thread? What’s your take?
The Roman Catholic Church makes a distinction between Protestants and LDS: Protestants are considered Christians in error. LDS are not considered Christians at all.
But I will vote for Romney. "Better to be ruled by a wise Turk than a foolish Christian."
The problem with Huck is that he’s an idiot.
You didn’t eat all the cookies, did you Bill?
I think I, as a Catholic, would LIKE to see the Mormon Mitt Romney as President. I think as a Mormon, facing a huge level of prejudice and bigotry, he would be the best champion of religious freedom and tolerance of any of them. Huck pretty obviously doesn’t like Catholics, and I wouldn’t be surprised to find he’s not so fond of Jewish people either. I think you can stick a fork in him. He’s done.
Alright, WVNan. Who knew? That gives me goosebumps.
I think you’ve said something before about being prescient, I may be mistaken.....?
True, there are no chads, but if the vote is close for the last few delegates, I’m sure that they’ll be counting them again.
You’re welcome.
I mostly worked the crowd about fifteen feet in front of the table. I never got around to the cookies.
LOL No, I saw them and then just forgot to go after any. Besides, I was trying to talk to people, and I didn't want crumbs on my shirt or in my mustache.
I walked right by you then...but if you werent eating the cookies, what were those crumbs......LOL
They know him too well.
Interesting. It’s rare that you see a voter that once supported Paul and doesn’t anymore. I saw a few liberals peel off when they found out Paul’s stance on abortion, and a few more over the evolution flap but most conservatives stick.
Is it foreign policy? Just too big a hurdle for you on that or is there something specifically exciting for you about Mitt?
I ask respectfully.
-—Uh...in those days, the South voted Democrat no matter what.-—
That’s just the point. The South has become a Republican stronghold in recent times. I believe they will support a credible Republican candidate, which Mitt Romney certainly is.
In other words, don't take my precognitions for gospel. God will put His choice in the White House.
Awesome!!!!!!!!!!
Lovely post. I sent you FRmail.
