Sad day for me. Could have voted for Fred with gladness in my heart. Can’t say that about any of the rest. I’ve never understood the animus I’ve read on these pages, from a few, directed at FDT. Didn’t make any sense. So bewildering.
But, I will NEVER vote for Huck, Rudy or, most especially, John McCain.
I am as fundamental Christian as you could meet, anywhere. My faith is THE most important thing in my life. But there is something about Huckabee that disturbs me. Gut instinct tells me, NO.
That only leaves a very reluctant vote for Romney, a write-in, or sitting the whole thing out. Haven’t made up my mind. Too early, and a lot could happen yet.

Huckabee is the GOP Jimmy Carter and electing him would be an absolute disaster for conservative movement.
I don’t trust Huckabee on national defense/WOT, illegal immigration, and taxation. Worried he might be TOO compassionate. I’m looking for someone more likely to have delusions of Ghengis Khan-hood than delusions of sainthood. Still, if Huckabee gets the nomination I’ll vote for him.
