Sorry to hear that, just when Fred was beginning to catch on. I am so sooooooorrrrrrrrrry , I know how much all you Fredheads felt about Fred. Just remember this election is not about Fred, it is about finding the best one to go against the Hildabeast.. now is the time to rally.

With respect, AM, that so many of us have fallen for this bit of false "conventional wisdom" IS the problem. There is as much DANGER IN OVERESTIMATING HILLARY as there is in underestimating her. When people cower to Fear of Hillary, the Republican party becomes weak and watered-down into big-government moderateness.

It's not about Fred and it's not about Hillary, it's about limited government conservatism and whether or not the Repulican party will represent that principle. OVERESTIMATING HILLARY has resulted in enormous damage to the Republican party.

You’d like Fredheads to forget the attenpts by “Evengelicals for Mitt” to paint Fred as pro-abortion, wouldn’t you? You’d also like us to forget about that “Phoney Fred” site that was put up by Romney associates to diss Sen. Thompson. And you’d also like us to forget about the Mittwits on the eve of the Iowa caucus spreading the rumor that FDT was dropping out of the race at that point.

Sorry, most of us have long memories. Flip-flopping Mitt won’t be getting my vote. Neither will backstabbing McCain, gun-grabbing Rudy, nor Elmer Gantrybee.

Look for the GOP candidates still in the race and their minions to flood the airwaves, saying kind things about Fred and trying to pick off his supporters.

These vultures won’t get me. We Fredheads drafted Sen. Thompson because the other candidates were unacceptable. They still are to this one.

No, sorry, you're wrong. It wasn't about Fred, that's right. I was about finding the correct candidate who could be a true conservative and stand tall against Missus Clinton. It isn't about "the best to go against" Clinton either. THAT was the the whole problem here. Every single candidate that is left in the race on the Republican side are just a tad to the right of Bill Clinton. Romney is a flipper, Rudy is a Liberal, Huckabee seems to be wolf dressed in sheep's clothing and hasn't gotten the name "Huckster" for nothing. McCain is a Middle-of-the-road guy and Hillary will beat him HANDS DOWN.

No, really, what this was about in many peoples' minds, and little minds most of them, was "electability". Let's find the person who is "most electable" rather than a person who stands on principle and honor, truth... and hell, might as well say it, Justice and the American way.

Instead we've got a lot of Republicans who seem to be nothing more than left-leaning Conservatives, who'd rather not stand up and fight for what's right and proper, instead COMPROMISE.

I'm honestly sick of this Political Correct society in which we live where we have to be nice and play well with others, and *I* get called down in a forum because I'm rougher on some people than other people want to be.

Political Correctness, and Socialism is for Socialists. Not Americans. If you're claiming to be an American and you're COMPROMISING your principles, then you're NO AMERICAN.
