Fox News ^

Carl Cameron says it'll become offical sometime later this week.

Oh well, we're doomed. Let's hope it'll be minimal damage until 2012.

They aren’t capable just yet, but my hope is they will be sooner rather than later. A guaranteed way of undoing all our progress is to leave now as hypocrats suggest.

It would be nice to have a rational discussion with you guys without the name calling!

Leaving would not undo our progress, since the progress is dependent on the Iraqi's getting control of their own government and not depending on us.

I believe I supported the right guy to be President. Sad for the country that it didn’t work out. I’ll choose another candidate to vote for, but rarely do I find a guy that I just really support without hesitation, without reservation, without apology. Fred was that candidate. I was able to vote for him twice for Senate, and wish I could have voted for him two more times - once to be the nominee, once to be the President.

Nothing wrong with that opinion.

Now, you have to face the reality of who is left and represents the most conservative views.

Okay, so with no credible conservative left, I think I’m ready to plan on writing in Hunter for Prez, and Marcia Blackburn for VP in November.

This is the result of the “perfect storm” trifecta of RINOS, cowardly conservatives who harped on “electability” and presumed that Hillary would be a juggernaut, and the manipulations of a left-leaning media.

Hillary is not the one to fear. If she gets the Dem nomination, it will be over the carcass of Obama, and that will provoke the majority of the black vote she’s heretofore laid claim to, to stay home. The ticket to fear is Obama/Richardson. A solid conservative who could make the case and show the contrast between the parties and their visions for the country is (was?) the only chance of the GOP winning in November. We now seem to have eliminated that chance.

This should not be a surprise to anyone, whether you support him or not.

None here! It was expected.

Well crap. So now I am left with someone from the Keating Five who is against the First Ammendment; A man from Massachusetts who is RINO to the core, another man from Hope, Arkansas who will say anything, a guy who wants to isolate America from the rest of the World and a guy who was simply capitalized on his proximately to 9/11.

Shit, Hello President Hillary. Hello Fairness Doctrine, Hello socialized medicine, Hello amnesty.

WTF are these Primary states thinking? Damnit, do some friggen research into the candidates!
Spoon fed idiots.

Don't bother educating me on your nich RINO candidate, don't care to hear it 'cause Hillary and team will wipe the floor with them.

But I think he will do more to nominate conservative SC justices,

Why? He nominated liberals for the court in MA.

Thanks for your thoughtful response!

It is off of the thread topic and it would take pages for me to answer your questions, but I'll try to summarize. I am the granddaughter of legal Italian immigrants. This Country consists of immigrants, so no, I'm not against LEGAL immigration, but that isn't what is going on here. First, I think the large influx of people from the middle east, who have no desire to assimilate, but instead, demand their rights for their religion, is VERY dangerous to the Freedom we enjoy in this Country. (Look at the demise of Europe)

I'm the grandson/great grandson of legal and illegal immigrants. I'm also very much for LEGAL immigration. I'm for greatly increased legal immigration. I think that any country with a culture that is hostile to the U.S. should be cut off, with the exception of asylum seekers. I think increased birthrate is the answer to the demise of Europe.

Secondly, I think that the people smuggled here from Mexico to satisfy cheap labor for big business, and to add a new poverty class for the Democrats, is also very unAmerican. They are the new "slaves" and it is indefensible.

I agree with you again. I think that illegal Mexican and Central American immigrants are being brutally exploited, most of all by the Democrats. I'm glad that they are willing to do so many tough jobs and I think that we need them for that reason. I'm glad that so many like making babies and are family/church going/Christian people. But they should not be deprived of the economic freedom which enables upward mobility because of fear. Hopelessness in the face of prosperity breeds dependency, crime, and neglect. After the border is secured, WITH A FENCE, if they know english and they can prove that they worked hard, and they have gone home, let's get them back here where they belong, legally and quickly.

I also think that instead of Mexico criticizing us, they should improve their own country and take care of their citizens, instead of expecting the U.S. to take on even more people that can't take care of themselves.

I don't think it's Mexico's business to take care of their citizens except ensure their freedom, keep them safe from crime and get out of their way.

Your questions and points are great, but I don't ever see our government doing those things!

We will fix these problems, we must.

I’ll be writing in Hunter’s name...
>More Americans will suffer from terrorist attacks if a Democrat wins. <

>More Americans will suffer from terrorist attacks if our borders are not sealed. None of the candidates now running are very supportive of doing so. In fact several of them are downright hostile to the idea.

More taxes will be sucked from your paycheck—if you’re lucky to have one—if a Democrat wins.<

It will be the same with any of the liberal leaning repubs now running. None of them seem exceptional conservative when it comes to taxes and cutting spending.

>>More babies will die in the womb if a Democrat wins. <<

No more than will if a Republican wins. The president can not put a stop to abortion.

>More of your health care decisions will be decided by a bureaucrat in Washington if a Democrat wins. <

And too if Romney wins. Take a look at his current enforced health care in MA.

>>More of your nation’s security will be turned over to the cabal of clans at the United Nations if a Democrat wins. <<

The status quo will be maintained. George Bush seemed pretty married to them as well.

>>I hope you’ll reconsider.<<

I have and continue to weigh carefully everyone’s opinion here but haven’t read anything convincing me that it will be in my family’s favor or the country’s favor to vote for any of the rhinos currently running.

>>>>>Would any conservative still interested in the 2008 election please reply back to me and tell me which of the remaining candidates is the least shitty?

All thats left is moderates and liberals.

McCain, Giuliani, Romney, Huckabee ---- not a conservative in the bunch.

No thanks. None of the above.

Well, crap. Guess I’ll be buying some new guns and more ammo, before the dems take over and remove the 2nd Amendment.

Best suggestion I seen here so far and be sure to store them in different secure locations.

“That is the essential difference between the two men, McCain will not listen to anyone and still thinks he is right about that amnesty bill.”

One of Romney’s campaign promises is to push to immediately repeal McCain/Feingold.

Again, when they’re capable that’s the idea. The hope is they will indeed be capable soon, I agree they have to step up and do their part and right now, as we’ve done ours.

Seems they’re making that progress now more than ever before, and I’ll trust Petraeus and the generals on the ground for letting the American people know when that point is reached.

‘Hypocrats’ is not a name, it’s a legitimate description of what was once the democrat party now that Zell Miller is retired and Joe Lieberman is an independent.

There simply are no democrats left that don’t have some kind of major issue with hypocrisy as far as I can tell. I don’t know enough about Evan Bayh, some say he’s decent enough, but Pelosi, Reid, Murtha, Kennedy, Byrd, Kerry, Clinton, Edwards, Obama, Jackson-Lee,...well, it’s overwhelmingly represented by hypocrats.

Yes. Appears suicide related, my guess, since there were pills found and no appearance of criminal entry noted. Sad.

With Fred out of the race and the fate of our country left to truly immoral and terribly inept and corrupt people, it seems this nation is about to have it's final come to know Jesus moment right about now or shortly after November 2008.

Time to retire to the countryside and stock up on essentials.

Sung to Neil Diamond’s Brother Love’s Traveling Salvation Show

Brother Huck’s Travelin’ Salvation Show

Cold January night.......
And the propaganda’s hanging down
And conservatives on the ground feelin’ beat.
Move up the road to the outside of town
And the sound of that good liberal beat!

Sits a ragged governor
Where there ain’t no truth,
And that gospel group tellin’ you and me

It’s Huck, Brother Huck, say
Brother Huck’s Travelin’ Salvation Show!
Pack up anchor babies and grab the old ladies
And ev’ryone cries ‘cause everyone knows
Brother Huck’s lies.

Halle- Hallelujah......

Starting soft and slow
Like a small town hick
And when he lets go,
Half the country’s sick!

It’s Huck, Huck Love, say
Brother Huck’s Travelin’ Salvation Show!
Take an old wrestler , a ‘B’ movie hustler
And ev’ryone goes, ‘cause everyone knows
Brother Huck’s flam flam show.

Hallelujah!
