McCain hit by Hammer on the Hill (Delay says he might sit it out)
The Hill ^ | January 18th | Jackie Kucinich

“If McCain gets the nomination, I don’t know what I’ll do,” DeLay said at the Capitol Hill Club, according to a source in the room. “I might have to sit this one out.”

Mine either. McCain will be out after Florida. That will be fine with me. Most likely then he will hang around and ask Hillary or Obama to pick him for VP like he asked Kerry.
PLEASE FRED STAY IN THE RACE!

At least McCain will control federal spending.

Yes, just like the hold he put on the last bill, holding it back until all the ear marks were removed.

Oh, you mean in the future, i get it.

Get off the sauce.

“I will not vote for him and if we get a Democrat, so what. We’ve had them before, we’ll have them again. My ticket will go Libertarian or blank.”

Interesting how opinions on the FR collective evolve from being considered “DU Troll” or disruptor type to being an accepted status quo.

A year ago talk of not voting for an R and resigned to living with a D would have been met with cat calls, boos and a possible spanking. Today it’s a real possibility that it will happen and the arguments against it are less than the arguments for it.

Several years ago it was pointing out the insane liberalism of George W. Bush that would get you the boot, then as it became apparent that more and more sustained it became a viable opinion here.

Before that it was adamant early warning about illegal immigration that got people in trouble here. Now it’s front and center 24/7.

It’s going to be an interesting 2008.

I am so glad people are as sick of RINOs as I am.

You and me both my friend, you and me both. I have posted here many, many times that I am sick and tired of having to HOLD MY NOSE and vote. Enough is enough. We have allowed the RINOs of the socialist wing of the former republican party to keep doing this and doing this. As a results, each time they get our votes, they move further and further to the left. They are socializing and liberalizing the RINOcrat party further and further. Before long you will not be able to tell any difference between the Marxist Dimocrat People's Abortion Party and the RINOcrat People's Socialist Party. They will be one and the same. Look in a mirror and you will see the same looking right back. I am through holding my nose. Maybe one day, someone will stand up for conservative principles again and make us proud. I don't think it will happen, but I can only pray it does. America wants free stuff and America has decided it wants socialism. Thus, everyone is voting for these pigs. I am through voting for them. I am finished with it. Like Mr. Delay, I guess I will sit it out. I am wasting my vote anyway. If I vote for a RINO, I might just as well pull the leaver for Hillary. There is no difference. Liberalism and socialism is one and the same no matter which mouth it is coming out of, her's or the RINO candidate.

Delay said he may sit this one out.

You just changed the whole meaning of what Delay said. You must be a journalist.

You won’t find posts from me on those issues. I live in Colorado Springs and it is possibly the most conservative city in the US.

If the sentiments locally are any indication, McCain will cost the Republicans the election. Republicans will sit it out. I think they will still vote just go blank or Lib on the ballot for President.

Better to have a Republican congress and a Democratic President than a RINO and a Democratic congress.

People are funny. They will split the power if they aren’t happy with the choices. I think McCain’s nomination would do just that in the hopes of having stalemate.

McCain isn’t president yet, just a senator.

He will be a better advocate of lower spending than the GWB/Delay “team” were.

McCain has got to be pleased that Tom Delay isn’t supporting him.

a lot skinnier too.... JD has what it takes ........IF.....

1. he tones down to at least volume 5 instead of 8

2. Talk.........not preach....

3. Since these are JD’s negitives, outsmart em
and enter a campaign with issue specific detail as to where you are and the exact solution. Be conservative, don’t
pander........

4. Learn the art of “others tellin your story” instead of you

5 Rinse and repeat.

—————Oh, come on. You would actually vote for the evil witch?-————

The damage that McCain’s policies could and WOULD do while it’s all being called conservative by the media is immeasurable.

This cannot be allowed to happen.

Hang out where Ted is? I’m not for Romney so I don’t like people who try to “out liberal” him like he did in the debate against him (Romney’s failed senatorial bid)

One question, had Romney ran as a conservative in Mass, would he have won the election? That is really the point.

How do you “split the power”, if you have a Democrat Congress, Senate, and President.

No. I saw him on Cavuto a couple of weeks ago, I don’t remember the date. He talked about Mitt’s positive record in MA “before it was cool”. He definitely told Cavuto he would never vote for mccain, he would write in Cavuto. I guess you know Sheriff Joe from AZ has endorsed and has campaigned for Romney? Sorry I am not more helpful.

It’s time to send McLame and Rootie a message - no republicans should vote for either in the Florida Primary.
