FLASH: RASMUSSEN Florida poll to be released: Romney 25, McCain 20, Giuliani 19... Developing...
It’s put up or shut up time for conservatives. Romney is the most conservative of the 4 who have a chance. Whoever wins Florida will be well positioned for Super Tuesday.
If these numbers hold, Romney will be tough to stop.
Hopefully, Fred is running ahead of the Huckster. I could support a Romney ticket if Fred was the VP.
Well all things considered, I guess this is good news. Unless Fred can pull a miracle, Romney is the guy. Romney/Watts 2008!
Without Fred none of them are considered conservative. You are fooling only yourself by saying that.
Romneycare.
Promises hand outs to Michigan.
NOT Conservative.
Sorry, you may be right about Romney. I’m still thinking, but will probably root for him. However, my absentee ballot for Florida was already sent in. I voted for Fred Thompson.
Thats amazing, given how the media is pimping for Mccain. If McCain comes in 3rd, thatll be sweeet!
My first choice is Fred. Romney looks the best of the rest to me.
In every way, Romney and Fred would be a workable ticket. Even if I would like it to be Fred and Romney.
Fred won't do the VP slot, but JC Watts would fit like a glove. It is just too bad JC is not from a swing state.
Go Mitt !
With the choice left, I would like to see Guiliani. If he should drop, I have decided, while basically holding my nose, that I would support McCain over Romney. I just don’t trust him and I would rather have a McCain CIC. I know where he stands on the war on terror. Romney tends to get uncomfortable when asked about his stand.
Do you think Fred would be McCain’s VP?
I agree. Romney was not my first choice, but he is now. We must have someone who can go against McInsane.
Interesting. I think Romney will do well in Jacksonville, and along the I-4 corridor (Orlando to Tampa). How he does in on the I-10 corridor (the Panhandle of Florida) will be interesting. The Florida Panhandle is a lot like south Georgia and Alabama — Huckabee land. It will be interesting to see how those voters respond to Huckabee’s loss in South Carolina. Some may continue to vote for Huckabee, but I wonder which candidate benefits most from the perception that Huckabee’s run is over — Romney or McCain?
That’s correct. None of the ones that will remain standing are true conservatives. At least McCain supports the war on terror and that is a priority. And he’s pro-life.
When will Rudy and Ron Paul drop out?
I have a bad feeling that Rudy will not go gently in to that good night.
