The rule of law is about to be undone - let’s just have the war while we are young enough to fight it...

I think you've hit a nerve that should resonate w/ all of us:

What type of a country are we going to leave to our children and grandchildren? Decisions we make this year, more than any year in the past, will vibrate through generations to come.

Perhaps a fight won’t be necessary, but a split is definitely coming. There will be two Americas in the not too distant future, the south and mid-upper west and the northeast and coasts. The ideological divide is too wide to maintain and nothing any President can say will change what’s coming. The American identity is all but gone and the ideals that made us great in the past have been decimated. Pay very close attention to the 2nd Amendment battles coming as I believe that will be the trigger point.

If alive today, I wonder what President Davis would have to say about your article.

What seems to be overlooked constantly on this issue is the negative progression into our Society that is accomplished by the tolerance of the Illegal Society. They may take the lower paying jobs that most of our children start with, were they available and not occupied by Illegals, but they also progress into Industries important to the livelihoods of many a tradesman. They remain outside of, not inclusive within our Society. IOW they don’t assimilate, they take, and take. The monies they make are sent outside of our system, and means to avoid taxation by dealing within their non assimilated communities, thus off the radar so-to-speak is rampant. Thus we have this non participation in funding yet maximum participation in taking.

I have to get offline, so this was not edited...Sorry.

If there is trouble, let it be while I can do something about it, so that my son can live in peace.

The rule of law is about to be undone...

I rule of law will be replaced by imperio de la ley. The Dem and Repub leadership want the illegal invaders for different reasons: They do not want to oppose them fro political expediency, the dems want voters (who cares if it destroys the democrat party), the repubs want bodies paying for SS and Medicare.

IMHO, this was predictable with the Income Tax. The final consequence of the tax is that 5% of the population pays 60% of the taxes. That 5% both own and run the government. Their choice for President is Hillary...she owns all their dirt. This, IMHO, was the ultimate reason for the Income Tax. We sold the country to them.

It’s not ours to leave to our children; it was removed from us in 1965. Our best gift to our children is a foriegn language and a passport.

Maybe even as far back as 1929 and the vaunted FDR. Before FDR, federal spending was 4% of GDP. Now, federal spending is 18% and will soon be in the 20’s. The nanny state is in full force and scaring the heck out of business.

My number one issue is immigration.Winning the war on terror is a mute point if we dont have a country. It is being sold out from the powers that be.

I think you’re right. That’s why the 2nd Amendment will be the flash point. Too many southern boys won’t give them up if the feds try to restrict them.
