Little Rock, AR-

One day after a devastating loss to Senator John McCain in the South Carolina primary, Mike Huckabee visited Huck supporter Chuck Norris’ Lone Wolf Ranch near College Station TX for a fundraiser that included him playing with his old band. During a press avail prior to the event, Huckabee took a moment to speak to reporters on the tough defeat the night before.

The Huckster is understandably in high panic mode. If he can't win a tailor-made state like South Carolina, his campaign is dead in the water.

His attacks on Thompson are silly - no Fred supporters will change to Huck. Anyone who has even a minimal understanding of why voters support Fred understands his supporters will NEVER move to Huckabee. I know lots of evangelicals like myself who would never, under any circumstances, vote for Huckabee.

Excuses are the lifeblood of losers, but the harsh reality is that Fred's votes would all have gone to Huckabee's competition, not to him. Huckabee's extreme dirty campaigning in South Carolina puts the final nail in that coffin.

But Huckabee’s politics are liberal. He just won’t admit it.

Ahh yes, pro-life, pro-gun, pro-tax reform, pro-traditional marriage, pro-border fence, and on and on, are "liberal."

I forgot, thanks for the correction.

Funny, that's the same reason the pundits are using for FRed to drop out...strange, isn't it?

Huck has ONE constituent base to date...an important one, but only one. His aim had to be for an early knockout, and it didn't happen.

Time for FRed to ramp it up!

Yes, Saturday was yesterday.

Fred ended Huck’s chances yesterday in SC. Fred took away much of the Huckster’s vote.

If Fred stays in, he’ll keep doing that.

If Fred drops out, the win has given McCain momentum that Huckabee can’t overcome, especially given his increasing tendency to run his mouth without thinking.

Maybe 2 out of the 4 of those is truth. You can not even attempt to cram "pro-border fence" down an true FReeper's throat. It is just a plain bald face lie.

The day Fred drops out will be the day I drop out. There will be nothing left but rinos. Why should I care which rino wins the nomination?

Huckabee starts off the video with a lie. Says,”Oh, we didn’t know what we were walking in to”. Like he didn’t know all the reporters were there!
I never heard Fred say he would get out if he didn’t win in Iowa or South Carolina. All Fred said in both cases was that he had to DO WELL in both races. Well he did come in third in both and that is doing well. Now Rudy has not done well (1st,2nd,or 3rd) anywhere and has said he has to do well in Florida. That is most true for Rudy. Fred is still in the race and McCain and Huckabee will not do well when they have to face ONLY registered Republicans! GO FRED!

Maybe you can help me: How long has Huckabee been "pro-tax reform" and "pro-border fence" now? Is it four weeks or five?

Huckabee says these things because he wants votes. In reality:

He raised taxes more than Bill Clinton.

He called for a federal ban on smoking.

He says he’s a Christian, but he lies to voters and uses deceptive campaign tactics, and he accepts the endorsement of the pro-atheist NEA.

Nothing coming out of Huckabee’s mouth is believable.

Let’s see... The e eventual Republican nominee will need a total of 1191 delegates. To date, exactly 156 have been decided. Romney has a slight lead with 72 delegates. And they are demanding that Thompson give up? LOL!

The Huckster is insane and a megalomaniac.

Why can't the Christian Right see that? Don't they want a place at the GOP table into the future?

If they keep this up, they won't have one.
