The DBM doesn’t worry about hypocrisy because they have no conscience and no shame.

$$$$$$

True, but they acknowledge that others do have a conscience and moral compass and take glee in pointing out any moral failing of a conservative. It reminds me of the phrase: “no, but I stayed in a Holiday Inn once” how quick they are to jump on any conservative moral frailty.

Couple that with the entire media ignoring Wyoming....I'm only particular about that slight because I was born there and I have family that live there. Pisses me off to see the state ignored like it doesn't exist!

Those delegates could end up being the deciding delegates!!!

You are so right about the media trying to take out Romney now, before he would actually be the competition for her highness.

I think most Americans would see the contrast of who they want to represent them on the world stage too clearly, and her highness would not win.

Why the DBM want socialism is so sad, I hate to think about it.

Your neighbor has turned you on to attacking believers.

I don't know what you mean, but that's ok. My neighbors are fundamentalist Muslims. I am Roman Catholic. None of which has anything to do with my take on Mitt Romney. I think he's more phony than John Kerry, and that's saying a lot. You will have read the charges against him many times here at FR, so I need not repeat them. If you discount all evidence of his lack of character, except that which is recorded from his own mouth, the evidence remains overwhelming.

Men already hate her (Hillary). Most of us just imagine being married to her and then we throw up.

Or, she reminds us of somebody whom every one of us knows pretty well and simply loathe.

In my case, it is an insufferable sister-in-law. They are dead ringers for one another in their scheming attitudes and sly, self serving, backstabbing ways. Either one would cheerfully cut your heart out and carry it to the nearest pay-for-service blood bank so they could sell it for a few bucks.

Who wants to vote for somebody like that - besides about half the country (and my sister-in-law)!!??

Romney takes the most important weapon away from the liberals, the smear machine...

Since when has that ever slowed down the Clinton Smear Machine?

They can make it up and shoot it faster and more often than anybody can refute it. Pretty soon, some sticks as "fact" to those not paying close attention - which is the majority of American voters.

You hit on the important clear difference between Republican and Democrat. The Republican does, or should, support lower taxes and more personal and private enterprise incentive. The Democrat is the higher taxes, more programs, etc, supporter. In addition, the Democrat does not deliver the programs but channels money into the special interests that supports their campaigns.

Now I think an equally important endorsement of Mitt re the Supreme Court came from esteemed law professor Douglas W. Kmiec. When I saw his endorsement, it was a turning point for me in becoming a Romney supporter.

Exactly gritty. Hillary reminds most of us about Women we do not like. That pretty much says it all................. ........................... Just watched Chris Wallace on FNSunday take on Mitt. Mitt kicked his ass all over the place!! It was awesome! Wallace threw out one "gotcha question after another and Mitt fired away with great answers to everything!

"The dems believe in throwing money at people, I would rather create jobs", says Mitt. To one vacuous question by Wallace who is nothing more than a RIH.

...our side want to give it to anyone making less than 200 grand

#####

The biggest problem of all is the concept of the government “giving” money to people.

We, and our candidates, should always say “take less from” people.
As in “take less from people earning under two hundred grand...” BTW, Romney proposes to have zero tax on savings, capital gains, and dividends for people in the under $200000 of earned income category.
The AVERAGE refund in America is over $2000 which means that a whole lot of people are using their withholding taxes as a means of savings, and look on their big check from the Treasury once a year as a ‘gift’ from Uncle Sam. Many too many of these people believe that rich people also ‘get’ huge checks from Uncle Sam, when the government “”gives”” money to people.

Bill Clinton promised to cut the bureaucracy in ‘92 and did, to an extent.

No he didn't. The only thing he cut was the military - and he did so massively. Then he claimed he cut "the government".

To be sure, the military is part of the government. But as usual, Bubba talked about it so fast and then continued on that his assertion stuck it really was a dispensible part of "the government" - as most of the rest of the government in fact is. None of the media questioned it and were more than happy to let it ride. The few honest people who did were probably too busy and overwhelmed trying to clear up some previous Clinton lie so not much more was said.

To paraphrase Winston Churchill, the Clintons' Lies got halfway around the world before The Truth got it's boots on, as usual.

I can understand how some of my remarks may, at first, seem snide to you.

OTOH none of my remarks have been removed by the Moderator, so I’m at a distinct disadvantage, in that regard, compared to MNJohnnie.

The way to grow the economy is to get the government out of the way, and Americans, the most entrepreneurial and ingenious people on Earth, will do the rest.

((((((

Romney gives this very answer when asked what government can do to ‘grow the economy.’
