Schwarzenegger to remain neutral in presidential race
LA Times ^ | 1/19/08 | Evan Halper

Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger today put to rest months of speculation that he would shake up presidential politics by endorsing one of the candidates.

Standing alongside Mayor Michael Bloomberg of New York City - himself a potential presidential candidate - at a Los Angeles news conference where the two men spoke of the need for more federal funds for road projects and other infrastructure, the governor said he will not be getting involved in the race.

"It doesn't help me any, it doesn't help the state of California to endorse anybody," Schwarzenegger said. "I will not endorse anybody."

When a whore is being fought over, does she take sides if the money factor is unknown? Far from being the manly man he plays in the movies, Arnold is little more than a mining camp whore.

In that case, it will be either Obama or Bloomberg.

Good idea. His judgment is suspect anyway. I would not listen to anything he said.

It would be great to keep him in neutral the rest of his term. Up on blocks would be better. (With the brake on of course)

Wait. Arnold will endorse Hillary.

I'll go with that prediction (or whoever the Dem nominee will be). Plus he will wait untill the very last couple weeks before election day to announce it. Giuliani did the same thing in New York when he endorsed Democrat Mario Cuomo over George Pataki.

Arnold will probably vote for Romney, since the two of them are about the same politically.
