Not to rain on Duncan Hunter’s parade or anything. However I think he makes a much more powerful person watching over the idiots in Congress and we need him there.
Did anyone watch Fred Thompson’s speech on Fox tonight? Sounded more like a concession speech than anything else.
If Hunter and Fred fold their tents who do you think their supporters will support?

I guess this nation needs to fall a bit further before we're ready to tap a fine man like Duncan Hunter. He would have been one of the greats, and we're all the worse for the loss.
