SPRINGFIELD, Mass. --A former Holyoke police officer has been sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison for shooting her estranged wife's boyfriend. Tammy Walker pleaded guilty to numerous charges, including armed assault in a dwelling. Her attorney had requested a two to three year prison sentence. Walker was a former sergeant who'd been fired before the shooting after numerous problems on the job. Prosecutors said in December 2006, she took a gun and 43 rounds of ammunition into the Chicopee home of 52-year-old Rochester Johnson, who was seeing Walker's estranged wife, Kathleen Donoghue. The gun went off in a struggle, passing through Walker's hip into Johnson's abdomen. Johnson survived, but said in a court statement that he suffered extreme anxiety from the attack.

I had to read it several times, back-tracking in the article, before it finally dawned on me what that meant. I went to sleep in America, and woke up in bizarro-land.
Wow, now that’s an individual who’s had a serious run-in with the ugly-stick.
On cable there’s a show called “The First 48” about the 48 hours after a homicide. They take you to several cities across America and you follow along with the detectives probing the crimes. One of the cities, Miami, it seems like the only cases they investigate for murder are gang-bangers and raging meth addled homosexuals.
Tammy Walker, Walker's estranged wife, Kathleen Donoghue
It would appear that way, but Kathleen was somewhat of a switch hitter. ROFLOL
LOL-I was thinking the same thing. It took more than a little backtracking to determine what was going on given the Gender bending of the obviously deficient writer.
OH my God! GUILTY, GUILTY, GUILTY.......hang her and burn the corpse.....
No wonder the #$@# is a lesbian —
And folks are trying to convince me these “folks” are NORMAL?
If that’s the case, I’m a raving lunatic!
I bet these urnalists are high-fiving each other in their glee that their PC politics took precedence over story continuity...
Oh Rochester...get your Johnson in here!
LMAO. Only on FR!
Yup quite a trip.......Mrs Nitti and I were just taking about this and how wierd it is at the urban health clinic where she works.
Guys coming in as women and women coming in as guys all the time - says it makes her head spin just trying to keep the records straight (pun intneded)

I put a call out to Donuts O’Toole but no word yet
The problem that readers are having with this sentence:
“A former Holyoke police officer has been sentenced to 12 to 15 years in prison for shooting her estranged wife’s boyfriend”
Is that it creates such a dissonance in our basic understanding of our world’s foundation. As a resident of Massachusetts, I cannot say only that I am married, I must now qualify the statement with that I am married to a woman.
I think I have a headache.....
But apparently, both women weren’t lesbians. Is this a Seinfeld episode?
Sadly, you get what you deserve in the “Commonwealth”. The real laugh is who (what) the voting majority send to Washington to represent Mass. So Sad. My suggestion to remedy the gay problem is to invite them all to Provincetown and then deploy a small, tactical nuclear weapon. How was gay marriage ever approved?
“that phrase twisted my head like a pretzel.”
Mine too. In fact I was so unsure what I was reading that I had to start over two times.
Perhaps Rochester Johnson was able to persuade her to “play for the other team”.
I assume Johnson's johnson played some part in this.
Yes it is, with live ammo!
