I'm thinking more along the lines of at least mentioning Florida, since everyone knows Florida is the next big contest, and obviously one where he would have to make a good showing to remain "viable."
"Stand strong" can just as easily be used in a dropout speech.

McCains got this one.
Not quite. It's 33%-30% with 82% reporting. Tightening!

Well I can’t speak German, and I don’t salute the Fuhrer, and I’m happy about that.
So yes, all things considered, foreign policy remains the trump card in electing a President when America faces an existential threat, whether it’s Communism or Naziism or Islamism.

“I think you have that mixed up......McCAin is the one who is going to have a stroke! Hes older....and is a very angry man. He is holding all his real anger in during campaigning and hes gonna blow soon.”
I love that squinty-eye picture a few people keep posting of him where he looks like a pirate, or popeye, or, well, a crazy person.

McCain’s got this one. Romney’s got the delegates. Bad news all around. (Except that Huckabee really has nothing.)

Mitt is the only real choice.

Thompson will drop out soon and endorse McCain, in my very humble opinion. In fact I believe that McCain will pick Thompson as his Vice President, again in my humble opinion.

(FRED 2008)
To: skeeter
How is that? I merely stated that the claim that “Fred is a good conservative” is arguable. And it is. He has been good on some issues...not so good on others (CFR).
The same goes for most of the other candidates. The only ones that seem to be completely off the reservation are McCain and Giuliani.
I’m not supporting anyone in particular, but I think the way Romney has been attacked here has been unseemly. And, kook or no kook, the anti-Paul stuff has been way overboard. Even Huckabee isn’t quite as awful as some here claim.
I’m just saying that the outrage is selective. Thompson would have been a fine candidate, but at this point, I just don’t see him having a realistic chance at being the nominee.

If McCain picks Thompson, I'll vote for that. But if he picks Huckabee..he can go pound sand.

Hello,
Despite the fact that you obviously support someone other than Fred, the fact that you would make such a low-life joke about a good man, who wants nothing but the best for this country, my kid, your kids, and that thing called the future, makes me sick to my stomach.
Not nice, nor wise, or thoughtful. Your true colors are shining though.
