Michelle Malkin: I Don't Believe Mike Huckabee

He’s an open borders drag queen, and he’s piling on the make-up and jewels again to disguise his pro-illegal immigration record in time for the South Carolina primary. The Washington Times reports that he has signed a NumbersUSA pledge to oppose any new shamnesty measures and reduce illegal immigration through attrition. I don’t believe Mike Huckabee:

Please go to the source link, she has some awesome links on his record and a devastating link to an interview with Laura Ingraham with Huck ducking and dodging.

I wonder if Mike Huckabee believes Mike Huckabee.

If the MSM were out to get him it would be very easy given all the "on the spot" declarations and policies he as instituted on the fly while campaigning.

Huckabee opposes abortion and gay rights. Those are the only two issues that he is conservative on. All of the other issues make him a flaming liberal.

I have watched Huckabee, and when asked particulars on his record, he goes into a state of denial, or he dodges and tries to imply that there is some fatal flaw with the person asking him the question. Huckabee is sly, and for a preacher to be dishonest , it is even worse. You would expect it from a politician but for someone with a pastor background , it is highly distasteful.

Yes. Those happen to be my bottom line issues, more important than anything else. But I STILL wouldn't touch him with a ten foot pole. A man who can lie about everything, and suck up corrupt money all over the place while governor, and even put up a fake "wedding registry" when he left office so he could get more free unreportable gifts, simply cannot be trusted on anything.

I think he'd sign a fetal stem cell research bill or appoint a flaming liberal to SCOTUS if it suited his political convenience at the time. There have been politicians--including Jesse Jackson and a number of other Democrats--who were strongly pro-life until the situation changed. And then they changed to please their bases. Huckabee's record on life issues is strong, certainly. But I don't trust him even on that, after seeing how he operates.

Jesse and Al were both against abortion and gay marriage before it became politically popular to change positions.

Ted Kennedy was pro life at one point too

Daily Sparks (NV) Journal tonight:

People are fed up with the annointed RINO choices being shoved in their faces, with true conservatives being blackouted, blacklisted and prevented from debates. The powers-that-be indeed have another think coming.

Mike Huckabee is the slimiest, most dishonest, most vile politician I’ve ever seen....and I’m including the Clintons. This guy has got to be stopped.

You’re absolutely right. Whenever he’s cornered, he changes the subject. Check out this exchange between him and Laura Ingraham, as reported on Malkin’s blog in the above link:

LG: You didn’t come out against [the Mexican] consulate issuing consular ID cards though, did you?

MH: I actually signed a bill in 2005 that prohibited people from getting a driver’s license who were illegal–

LI: –that’s not answering the question, governor. I understand that. But that’s not answering the question. Because I’m staying on this consulate issue. On the issue of the Mexican consulate, did you or did you not oppose the Mexican consulates issuing ID cards that are then used by illegal aliens to open bank accounts and get a number of other social services beyond health care and beyond education in the United States.

MH: Well, what I want to do is fix this entire problem by having sealed borders.

THIS IS A BAD, BAD GUY. His kid tortures and kills animals and he covers for him. He supports big-government nanny-statism. He lies about his opponents and covers his intellectual vacuousness with rehearsed jokes to deflect attention.

Slimy, stupid, and sadistic is no way to go through life.

I’d vote for Ron Paul first.

Hank

The Good Lord is shining a very bright light on this second generation demon from Hope, Arkansas. However, the brainwashed zombies see and hear nothing but what they are fed by the Pied Piper Media.

Huckabee reminds me too much of Pat Robertson and how loony he has gotten and was when he ran for president.

They have similar ethics issues. They like taking other people's money more than earning their own.

Actually, although he can sometimes be politically dumb and put his foot in his mouth, Pat Robertson is a very decent guy.

I'd compare the Huckster to maybe Tammy Faye Bakker. They even kind of look alike.

I hate Huckabee.

I hate Clinton.

Honestly, with a gun to my head I would rather vote Clinton than Huckabee.

Huckabee would screw the R Party for the next 20 years with his policies. Everyone would blame his screw-ups on Republicans..allowing only D’s to be elected and screw the country for then next 50 years.

Clinton would screw the country for a short time but, not screw R’s which would let us ultimately beat her.

The devil you know is better than the devil that you don’t.

Though I’d MUCH rather have Thompson, McCain, Romney, or Rudy than either of those two.
