Charleston, SC-
Last night at the Citadel, the historic southern military school located here in Charleston, GOP presidential aspirant Mike Huckabee positioned himself in defense battle mode, warning the crowd of 400 supporters about the barrage of attacks from his enemy entities, like the Club for Growth, that are questioning his conservative credentials. Huckabee defended his record.
Folks, I dont know what you are going to hear, about that Im not a conservative, but when you cut taxes, and you increase the per capita income, you improved the schools, and you rebuild the roads, and you preserve the national resources, and you streamline government, your government grows at a rate that is half that of the average of all states, Huckabee said, his voice rising. Call it anything you want to, but anybody with an I.Q. above broccoli calls that conservative, rock-solid, kind of leadership.

I guess I would at least need to be Catholic in order to understand what in the world you’re talking about.

At the same time we real Conservatives don't believe the state should stasnd in the way of our getting ahead. The Clintonistas left an Arkansas in place that was dedicated to building great golf courses for the rich and oppressing the poor and helpless by selling their blood to Canada's Socialist government.
The Huck changed things. Didn't fix all the problems, but he definitely made that part of the world more comfortable for the average guy.

Not only is Huckabee not a conservative, he is a vegetarian non conservative.
He has broccoli on his mind.
He should have beef.

Then how is it you know or don't know whether or not The Huck is or is not an authentic Christian and behaves and speaks in an authentic Christian manner?
BTW, I do agree with the Catholics on many things ~ we only have two differences in fact.

Dumber than a box of rocks, the IQ of a sack of gravel...not familiar with the standard “bag of sand” allusion.

Where is Dan these days? This current field of candidates makes him look good.

They’re all about the same. There are others, like “sack of hammers” or “heap of salt” or “carload of blondes.”

“Well it sounds like the voters see him as conservative”
They are listening to his dribble and not looking at his record.

Nice try. I never questioned his Chrisitianity. I’ll leave that up to God. As for speaking and behaving in an authentic Christian manner...well, this latest quote is simply one of dozens of smartalic one-liners that he has used to put down and ridicule his opponents and anyone who dares not to support him. Way more than any other candidate.
You decide.
BTW What makes you think I’m Catholic? Really, I’m puzzled.
