Big loss for most of the pollsters as well who were predicting a close race. Romney won going away.

Congratulations to Mitt. Compared to Huck and McCain, I’ll live with him if I have to.

I’m not overly fond of Romney either, but compared to McCain and Huckabee (neither of whom I could force myself to vote for)... he’s fine. Since it doesn’t look like Fred’s going to get the nod, a Romney/Thompson ticket might be the best reasonable shot we have.

Mitt Romney promised a twenty billion dollar to Michigan (a state of 10 million) the day before the election. It’s only big for Romney because the media loves Romney (or moreso how he loses to every Democrat by a large margin)and so they leave out what amounts to plain and simple bribery.

“Good. Head to Head, I’d pick Romney over McCain any day”

To be honest...so do I, and I don’t want Mitt as our nominee.

But McCain would be a terrible pick.

It's unbelievable. He won (only) because it's his home state don't ya know. They don't want to give Mitt ANY credit.

The MSM and the Democrats KNOW Mitt is the one to beat. : )

A class act? He’s bribed the electorate, he’s NEVER leveled with the American people, he cut off McCain’s concession speech (something no previous winner has done to him), he’s done a 180 on almost every single issue for no reason other than his complete lack of integrity. John McCain is 10 times the person Mitt Romney is.

Romney will win over McCain by 80,000 votes and over Huckabee by almost 200,000 votes tonight. An awesome performance! The media and the other candidates are spinning it like crazy.

What I like, in the face of tremendous opposition around here, we called Mitt’s rise and the way the media would help Huckabee and McCain to derail him. We were spot on....and I think we still are.

Mitt is the one!

i bet romney will be the next president. *puts down five dollars*

I have completely decided obama and hillary are not going to win because id swoon into a horrified faint and have to have smelling salts administered every hour on the hour.

I can already see onuta opening up the borders to every islamic extremist he can.

Mitt being photogenic, sure isn’t going to hurt him. I’ve been collecting them slowly off the net and will post some around here.

"We were spot on....and I think we still are."

I think so too! Mitt is head and shoulders over the other contenders. He has it all!

There is a long way to go. Lots of hard work and prayers for victory!

Yep, McCain was running late and had Leiberman introducing him, and Romney did not wait around for McCain to bump him out of the time slot.

Maybe this will be the thing that sets McCain off — we’ve all been waiting for him to get angry, he’s very quick to perceive major slights that never seem to be his fault.
