Answer the 11 questions below to find out which candidates are most aligned with your views and opinions. You may skip questions if you do not want them factored into the results. This quiz is not meant to pick your candidate for you. It is designed to inform the public of the various stances candidates make. Results are not scientific. The WQAD candidate survey is based on the original SELECT A CANDIDATE survey developed by Minnesota Public Radio and posted at: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/. It picked McCain, Hunter then Thompson.
It never asked me any questions about how McCain helped Kerry dispose of POW/MIA records in the late 80s or early 90s. This would be a sticking point that would make me oppose McCain.

This quiz is constructed to make John McCain seem more conservative than he is. That is its purpose. That is why there are no questions on the global warming hoax, judges, 1st amendment, drilling, patent protection, sanity, bipartisanship, torture, etc.

I took this poll today and I “voted” for Hunter. I think the poll is skewed, it doesn’t account for the “How Important” which was important in many of my decisions. I think Romney was my #2, which made me question their accuracy. Hunter, Romney & Thompson were all close for me in the 50+ range. Hillary, Obama, & Edwards were definitely in the cellar.

It was just a fun poll that I posted late last night...
I don’t know how “accurate” it is especially since McCain was first on alot of folks’ results including mine...
I respect my fellow Viet Nam veteran’s service but I won’t be voting for him.

Semper Fi,
Kelly

I agree most with Duncan Hunter and disagree most with Hillary Clinton where the only thing we have in common is that we, evidently, both support the death penalty. Who knew?

No surprises here, I've been a Hunter supporter form the gitgo and a Hillary detractor since she got to Washington DC.

I posted to you what I’ve observed, plain and simple. I’m posting at Free Republic because I am a staunch and committed conservative and have great respect for this group. Therefore, to have a seasoned regular here suggest I go to DU, after I made a very straightforward comment on a presidential poll, raises my ire and my radar. Perhaps my retort to you was a bit of scrappiness coming out on my part. What can I say — I’m a conservative, and I fight back.

There are a number of good web sites like this that help voters find out which candidates best represent them. This is a big help to voters since the media is not always focused on the issues that concern us the most. Another site that does a similar service is Pick Your Candidate . It's probably not a bad idea to take these short surveys at a variety of sites, since each will have a bit different take on what the important issues might be.
