Answer the 11 questions below to find out which candidates are most aligned with your views and opinions. You may skip questions if you do not want them factored into the results. This quiz is not meant to pick your candidate for you. It is designed to inform the public of the various stances candidates make. Results are not scientific. The WQAD candidate survey is based on the original SELECT A CANDIDATE survey developed by Minnesota Public Radio and posted at: http://minnesota.publicradio.org/projects/ongoing/select_a_candidate/. It’s Fred first then Duncan Hunter.

Okay, we’ve got the President and Vice President here.

Woohoo!

Barak does not even come up on my list. He must be way out there. Even Hillary came up at 10

Dang..., F. Thompson and D. Hunter tied for first at 53 for me. Agree/Disagree on the exact same issues for both. I guess I’ll have to flip a quarter Saturday at the SC primary. :-)

Seems like you agree with many of his issues.

That is because he is running for president. If he was running for governor or senator of Massachusetts the chameleons colors would change yet again.

> “How did McInsane get in there ???”

yeaaaaaaaaa...I couldn’t figure that one out either;
since like the rest of you; McCain doesn’t agree with us on immigration....

The best I can figure is McCain has been around so long (too long) and has taken all kinds of positions.
Law of averages says one of your issues would align with one of his, even though he's long since abandoned it ...

I got McCain also.

Perhaps they should have asked a 12th question: Do you want your presidential candidate sane?

That’s funny...said I disagree with only 2 things with McCain - Immigration and Marriage.

Of course those are the primary reasons that will make me vote against McCain.

Extremely flawed. Senator McCain opposed the Bush tax cuts, but on my quiz it shows that he agrees with my position. This has got to be rigged. Intersting scores:

McCain - 78%
Hunter - 68%
Romney - 68%
Thompson - 68%
Paul - 52%
Huck - 47%

This is funny I took the quiz again and now it says I disagree with Romney on gun control. Which sounds about right since he has changed his position over the years depending on what office he was running for. They must be changing stuff on that site because I am dead certain I picked the same options both times and Hunter and Fred are still the same and I am against any gun control.

WTH? McCain Thompson and Hunter in that Order???

Zomg. I did NOT expect to see McCain at the top of that list. Still doesn’t change my mind, Thompson/Hunter for the GOP in 08!

Weird, but fun.

McCain 70
Duncan Hunter 67
Fred Thompson 67
Mike Huckabee 51
Mitt Romney 51
Ron Paul 47
Rudy Guliani 39
Bill Richardson 15
Barack Obama 8
Joe Biden 8
John Edwards 5
Hillary Clinton 5
Mike Gravel 3

How did they figure out Hillary and Obama’s positions on the issues?
