A senior adviser to Hillary Clinton was arrested in Nashua, N.H., on charges of aggravated driving while intoxicated the day before the Jan. 8 primary, according to an article Saturday in the Nashua Telegraph.
The Telegraph reported that Sidney Blumenthal was given a field sobriety test by a Nashua officer who pulled him over for going 40 miles over the 30-mph speed limit at about 12:30 a.m. Jan. 7. The officer reportedly smelled alcohol and arrested Blumenthal following the sobriety test. He refused to take a breath test.

Schadenfreude at it’s best. I always enjoy seeing those holier-than-thou Clintonistas hoisted on their own petard. Yeah, Hillary! owns the MSM, exhibited by the story about how they are harder on her than any other candidate. The phoniness of all those involved with the Clintons must be trumpeted by those outside the MSM. Doing the work the MSM refuses to do.
You’re right. It is too bad...
This is too good to be true. Couldn't happen to a nicer a$$hat...
Before I get hammered by you all to get new friends please refrain from that mantra. He is a great person and good friend, just ignorant when it comes to politics and media bias. Stubborn, son-of-gun I tell ya.
Vile nasty jerk.
Some people are just unable to see the facts, no matter what you do. But sometimes, they absorb them gradually over the years, and one day they wake up and say “you were right all along!”
He’s probably irritated that he got caught up in the laws that are supposed to be for the little people.
Refused test = toast : )
That's so atypical of a Clinton. They usually surround themselves with Felons.
('Course this had nutin' to do with saving the Commodity Scam Queen's hide.)
ML/NJ
Wonder if there is a booking photo?
They know Hillary will probably lose Nevada and South Carolina anyhow, so they chose this time to do the classic Friday document dump. And their enablers in the MSM helped them, of course.
In many states today DWI is a felony.
Amongst DUers, this is just a character PLUS. Look for more of the same and much worse amongst the people Hillary draws to herself. People have had seven years to forget “Clinton Fatigue”. (Remember all the mysteriously dead people in high places in the Clinton orbit? . . all the disgusting sex scandals involving Bill? . . all the Commie money in exchange for advanced defense technology . . all the daily psychobabble coming out of that Clinton Cesspool that the Presidency was turned into? . . ) Get ready for more of it in spades if those two manage to wangle themselves into that position again. I, frankly, don’t hold out a whole lot of hope for the average voter to be able to see through them. Either Clinton could do a whole “speech” consisting exclusively of underarm toots and their sycophants would literally swoon! We have neighbors now who dislike us intensely for not voting mindless Democrat and for considering the Clintons scummy for their scummy behavior. The irony is that they would be absolutely disgraced and scandalized if their own grown kids acted in a similar way; yet they’ll gladly inflict this Clinton mess on the rest of us.
Double strange. (I was not faulting you for posting it.)
I just thought it was weird the way Fox announced a few hours ago (just before you first posted this, right?), “This just in . . . More details as we get them.”
I must say, I feel somewhat guilty because I am enjoying this too. This guy is one of the sleaziest, most liberal worms walking around.
Oh Yes!!!! We are AMUSED!!!!!
[Admission of guilt under most state laws. ]
Not true. The Constitution still applies to DUI but, most (all?) states have the implied consent law which is that you agree to submit to a breath or blood test under probable cause of DUI. Failure to do so cannot be used as proof of guilt but will likely result in loss of drivers license for a year on first offense or longer for repeaters.
[In many states today DWI is a felony.]
Can you provide proof? I would like to know which ones. I believe most are misdemeanors or, in some, petty offenses.
