Huckabee can kiss the Metamucil-using voting block goodbye.
To: TornadoAlley3
The Huckster did not refute one thing Thompson said because he couldn’t. Ad hominem attacks are the last refuge of a decimated position.
To: TornadoAlley3
“Does Romney do these? Huckabee asked the reporters. No, replied one. Neither does Thompson, said another.”
He has a point.

I think he showed his true nature. A “Metamucil” jab is something one might say to a friend in person in a jocular way, but he said it to the press. That’s just catty.

The Hucksters remark was childish, if this is the best he can do when challenged he’s in serous trouble.

Huck is a nasty/nice. Someone who says really unkind things but says them with a smile and so expects others to let them pass. McCain is just a nasty. I don’t want either of them for President.

Huckabee is an embarrassment to his adherents and himself. He’d be filleted by any nominee the Democrats put forth.

In a Huckabee administration, Metamucil would be available free of charge as part of Huckabee’s contemplated “Everyone Gets Free Stuff Except Evil Rich People” plan.

GO HUCK. I’v never seen a bigger bunch of babies than some of the fredheads around here. Fred goes in with the hatchet and Huckabee laughs it off and says “take some metamucil fred”. Get a life guys.

Fred’s response should have been: “And, you need to take the Dial A Pizza number away from that pig fat family of yours.”

Apart from being wrong on most of the issues, Schmuckabee has the wrong temperament for the job of America’s Chief Executive. His comment was childish and lacked the dignity and self-restraint required for the office he’d like to hold.
To: TornadoAlley3
I'm always looking for new things to say when people ask me, "How are you?". This story gives me an idea.
"Hi, how are you?"
"Constipated...and you?"
Others I've actually used: "Enigmatically mysterious...and you?"
"Swell and groovy."

Huckster can't defend his record, only make bad jokes.
And people really WANT that in a POTUS? He looks more like Slick Lite everyday.

does this mean Huckabee is going to have a Metamucil costumed character following him at all his stops.
Huckabee comes across as an older phart.

The only thing that surprises me about Huckabee’s comment is that he suggested Fred try Metamucil rather than snake oil.
To: TornadoAlley3
Fred is big boy, he can handle it.
Besides, when it comes to wit, Huckabee would surely lose to Fred T.
