Thanks for all you do. Cheers!
“But FRED got the endorsement of Right to Life against abortion.”
And Rudy got Pat Roberts’ endorsement.
All that glitters is not gold. Scrape the surface, and dig deeper.
That's what slave owners used to say.
The irony is that your insistence on having the freedom to make decisions for your lives is the very thing that you deny to millions of others when you deny them the protection of their lives that is due them.
Parents have the duty to protect and care for their children, not kill them. No matter what State they live in.
Cordially,
FNC gave way too much time to Ron Paul, who shouldn’t have even been at the debate. He is a nut and be treated that way. He should go back to writing his newsletter.
May you be appointed America's new Poet Laureate by any new administration (GOP, that is).

“Going after Huckabee made a lot more sense. If he finishes 2nd, ahead of Huck: 1) Hell get media credit for it, something his campaign needs desperately. 2) He will have dispelled the evangelical argument...that Huck has a lock on a significant GOP base. 3) He could indirectly benefit by peeling off a few McCain voters who liked his conservative attacks on Huck.
If he had chosen a direct confrontation with McCain, he risked McCain still winning SC (likely). Then the press would write that Fred had fallen short of his goal. If he knocks down Huck, he gets mini-giant-slayer coverage.”
That’s a bit of a stretch. It was Fred’s best performance but why go after Huckabee and not McCain? I think they’re too close of buddies and Thompson is hoping to be on VP ticket.
“And what is his position on the Right to Life Act? Did he promote it when he was in the Senate?
Duncan Hunter has introduced it to each new congress for ten years.”
Respectfully I ask: And how did that work for him? Did it get anywhere?
Fred voted 100% prolife. So how do you miss that as enthusiasm? Lets be fair and not bend the truth. Dems do that enough. He also has a viable plan that may make a difference.
Hanging on to the belief in an Amendment that will never pass, only allows more time to be lost.
Why apologize for something unless you think you've done something wrong? Before he ever got any details he assumed that her murder was our fault and apologized! Just like Bill Clinton would have done. That's what it has to do with 'blame America first".
It's basic math:
Jimmy Carter + Bill Clinton = Mike Huckabee
Americans did not accept the huge influx of illegal immigrants back in ‘86 - they believed and trusted their government’s policies and promises which were NOT enforced/kept. As another poster pointed out - McCain was part of the process/system in ‘86 and could have done something then, but did not. He never has. Look at his record on immigration - it is abysmal. When Tancredo dropped out of the race, he endorsed Romney, btw.
New Hampshire? How many times has NH determined the eventual presidential nominee? The reason their primary is so meaningless is because ANYONE can show up and vote.
The issue is that the format doesn’t really allow for an exchange between two candidates, which is what Fred was trying to initiate, and the result is that he has 5 times the amount of time in the battle. Brit Hume was a horrible moderator. He didn’t do a single bit of moderating last night.
LAW & BORDER — I like it!
Cordially,
Cordially,
Has anyone found a link to a transcript of this debate?

She did seem scripted and went out of her way to cut Thompson and not any of the other candidates.
Thank you for proving my point!
The question was "does it (the Reagan Coalition) still exist?" Specifically, are the "Reagan Democrats" still on board with the Republican message that led to huge majority wins? Huckabee's point is that they are not.
