As some of you will remember I asked for prayers about a month ago for my husband. He has a heart valve/bowel infection and was not expected to live through Christmas. He has been treated with antibiotics and continues to recover at home with an 24/hr IV pennicillin pump. Please pray that his bloodwork comes back normal today and that he makes a full recovery. It's been so far so good, but please pray that God takes us all the way. Please pray for strength for me also because working and caring for him at home is taking a toll on me.
Thank you all in advance.
Prayers for your husband and family.
Prayers going up.
I’m sorry everyone. Could someone please move this to chat?
You and your family are in my prayers.
God bless you and your Husband.
My love to you both
Prayers that the good news and good outcomes continue.
Seems appropriate right where it is. Admin Moderator may disagree, of course.
May God bless you and your husband and may his recovery be complete. You think you're lucky to have him? He's lucky to have you.
Prayers up.
prayers lifted.
Prayers for you. May God keep you and your husband strong.
Claiming Eph 3:20 & Isa 53:5 in this matter.
Isaiah 53
5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.
10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see his seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.
11 He shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.
12 Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he hath poured out his soul unto death: and he was numbered with the transgressors; and he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.
Prayers up for you and your husband. I hope the news just keeps getting better and better.
Prayers on the way. And re the location of your post, my observation has been that the management is happy to leave this type of post in the main forum for a little while, so it can get more readers, before moving it to “chat” later on.
God bless you and your husband. May the Lord continue to heal him.
Just prayed for you and your husband. God loves you both.
Prayers up for you and your husband.
You have my prayers! My husband passed away in July. I know what you are going through.
Maria
Thanks. Sometimes caregiving is quite a difficult and thankless job.
