Boston, MA – Today, Governor Mitt Romney announced that National Call Day 2008 has raised an estimated $5 million. About 500 Romney volunteer fundraisers from across the country joined Governor Romney in Boston today to call donors nationwide to raise both primary and general election dollars. Today marks the first Romney for President finance event in which general election dollars were raised. The success of today's event will help Governor Romney continue to compete nationwide and help communicate his message of bringing conservative change in Washington.

Governor Mitt Romney said, "National Call Day 2008 has been an extraordinary success. I am grateful to all of the fundraisers and donors who have helped us raise the resources we need to continue to be competitive in all 50 states. Washington is broken, and we all know that it will take someone from outside of Washington to bring conservative change to our nation's capital. Today's success shows the continued belief that I have the vision, values and experience to bring that change.

"This is going to be a long race, but we have some great momentum, and will carry that momentum into Michigan. The success of today's events shows a continued belief that I am the only Republican candidate who can match up against the Democrats in the fall. My campaign is about the future of our country, and I will be ready to go toe-to-toe with the Democrats in the general election."

Slick Willard is a lifetime member of the NRA, and has been for almost two years!

. He has been consistent on the pro-life issue.”

John McCain traveled to California to campaign AGAINST the pro-life John Campbell and forced him into a run-off which he eventually won.

John McCain supported an unabashed pro-abortion candidate.

The Club for Growth has started playing ads in Michigan today ($200,000) discussing Mr. Huckabee’s tax record.

Romney = Republicans weakest candidate in the general election.

With McCain being mentally unstable and Huckabee uninformed, and both for bigger taxes and amnesty, it narrows the field. If either of those two losers wins, many will vote 3rd party or stay at home.

The thing about Mitt I think is that he really wants to be president for the right reason, not to rent out the lincoln bedroom or something, and if anyone would have a chance at streamlining the government which i admit is unlikely, i think it would be mitt. he did lots of vetoing in MASS, and did veto the instate tuition for illegals, etc. and he is absolutely right on immigration or tancredo and Sheriff Joe from AZ wouldn’t endorse him.

Fifty million spent by Slick. 30, maybe, delegates. So, 1.5 million dollars per delegate. He only needs another 1,160 more delegats and two billion dollars at this rate.

Yeah, I can see it. Mitt raises 5 million for Michigan. That will get him 2.5 delegates.

A Mittbott was kind enough to post the Mitt has gotten 106 thousand votes. Which works out to about $480 per vote. Is Mitt so unliked that he has to buy votes( yes ) or is he incompetent with donated money?

No, because you can not trust Mitt on any of it. Where as Huck and McCain you can trust half. So they are many time more conservative than the zero to no Mitt.

He couldn’t get two illegal lawn cutters out of his yard for over a year. Now he says he can do nationally, what he couldn’t do for his house.

Shows you how desperate his enemies are. He will kick butt, in my opinion!

Mitt also managed to fire two entrenched hacks from Mass who were considered untouchable (Billy Bulger and Fat Matt Amorello). His record as governor was more conservative than many Freepers would have you believe.

It’s great to be a purist and support only true conservatives—namely, Fred and Hunter in this race. But once it’s demonstrated that these candidates are not viable, to boycott an election would ensure that Hillary gets in. I’ve never quite understood this logic.

Somewhere deep in the Romney campaign, a consultant thanks you and hopes you do so again, as he is having the best time since the Steve Forbes campaign.
