“Sorry, but when you denigrate my love for and faith in Christ, I cannot consider that a loving comment.
I am a Christian. I base my life around Him. I do so because of my Mormon faith. Whether you like it or not, that is the truth.”

“Because of (your) MORMON faith”
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
That does not make you a Christian...
The Bible does not say have MORMON faith and you will be a Christian
The word “Mormon” is not in the Bible
The type of faith we must have is the kind God tells us to have, not some pie-in-the-sky man-made idea of “faith”
“Now faith is the substance of things hoped for the evidence of things unseen Hebrews 11:1
But without faith it is impossible to please Him (God), for he that cometh to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of them that diligently seek Him...Hebrews 11:6
You’re nitpicking. Remove the word “Mormon” and the statement remains just as true.
I am, however, most grateful to be a Mormon. It is the means through which I have come to know, love, and follow Christ. I would venture to say that I can come to know Christ far more closely through my beliefs than you can through yours. I count that as a great blessing, and invite others to embrace it with me.
Sorry, Nana, your close-mindedness and ecclesiastical parochialism does nothing to diminish my relationship with Christ or my Christianity.
No but pretty sure Jesus Christ is and the church's name is The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. "Mormon" is just the nickname.
Course you already knew that.
Careful.......
There are a lot of notions/ideas/words that are expressly not found in the Bible that are used quite often out here on FR.com
Among them..."Trinity" "God the Son" "Mother of God", and more
Though you might not hear such things acknowledged on the regular Sunday service of many Denominations.
