I’ve been watching this unfold, and my gut instinct is she runs. She’s a coward, always has been. She’s a sneaky #@#$# who strikes out from positions of protected power, but when it’s all her, her turn to step up and go toe to toe, she falls back on her martyr complex and folds like a tissue. The ego that drives her to run in the first place is the same ego that will drive her to run from a real fight.
I’m laughing my butt off, whoever is running Obama’s campaign is smart - don’t go negative, let her strike the first blows and be the one branded as the mudslinger, and let her stand on her own (lack of) words and ideas. She’s living up to typical Clinton form - the white wash and smoke and mirrors have been blown away, and all that’s left is a shrill, nasty, evil #@#@# who will blow herself up when she starts trash talking Obama.
Bill got away with it because of his cult of personality - no matter what he did, the women all loved him and the men admired him. Hillary has NEVER had that, outside of lesbian groups, and she won’t get away with anything - as Iowa shows us.
I guarantee that much talk is happening now about saving her Senate seat and the money from the campaign being redirected for that. If Bill is getting a tepid response, it’s OVER.

It’s my guess that Bill never wanted her to run. His amourous antics forced a compromise between the two of them. Bill knew she was unelectable to national office.
They have all the money they will ever need. If she has plummeted, the numbers still have her in the lead. I think Bill did not win something like the first 5 races in 1992. Get the popcorn for Super Tuesday!

Just heard that Andrea Mitchell overheard Bill Clinton say that “He couldn’t make Hillary younger, or taller or a male” in response to why she was lagging in the polls...he forgot to mention “likeable”!!!

I agree. Her Narcissistic illness cannot handle any feedback that does not tout her as being the most admired, most "likeable," most intelligent, most electable, most wanted, etc. But it also makes her determined to fight to the bitter end.
Whenever she loses or is challenged in some way she either whines like a child (ala: "They are picking on me because I am a woman"...or like in the debate when she said "That hurts my feelings," ) and/or starts to yell - just ready to have a tantrum and become vicious. The more she is not the clear leader well in advance of the others, the more she will fight. It is her childish, immature, cry-baby, blame everyone else behavior that will be her downfall and will be observed, and will cause her continued defeats. (Geeze, even the Brits have shown they prefer Obama, that must be killing her- since they loved Billy Boy!) But, she will have to keep running even when it is obvious she is not the beloved candidate she believed she was. It is not because she "loves" America, or wants to serve...
The reason: without constant media attention, affection, preference and admiration, and without winning both Toons know there is no where else she can she go! Back to the Senate, yes, but after that term certainly it is Out of sight for them both! (Wonder who holds the mortgage on their NY house???)
Neither of them can stand that prospect. Hillary and Bill fear they will fade into oblivion if she does not win - and neither of the Narcissistic pair can handle that! She will never just drop out...she needs the drug of public attention, the Narcissistic supply of people fawning over her, talking about her, wanting her to speak, etc.
But, consider this: For a Narcissist, even negative comments or contraversies are better than not being important enough to be talked about. It is a weird sense of "attention" that all Narcissists crave and cannot live with without. Positive or negative, they must have attention. A narcissist just turns negativity around in their twisted minds and considers that somehow it means they are still significant and important enough to be discussed. That, in a strange way, still feeds their ego! They must be at the center, even when the center is a target for ridicule and not affection. That is the twisted way they think.
Without being in the spotlight till the bitter end Hillary and Bill will eventually wither on the vine. So she will fignt until the campaign is over. She will never give in and go away gracefully. (She has done nothing "gracefully" her entire life, certainly she will not accept defeat in that manner.) She will fight if only to keep people talking about her and if necessary, she will blame the whole world for her loss!
