People react differently to pain than other folks.
I’ve taken care of two family members that were in hell the entire time of their illness. The sicker they got, the meaner and more irrational they got.
Then I’ve seen those who were like Mary Poppins the entire time. Granted, I wasn’t related to them.
I don’t judge though. Pain can make you crazy. Enough pain can drive you beyond all simblance of human behavior.

This isn’t about the surgery, it’s about the rotten care.
Setting aside Glenn’s hospital stay- there’s a lot of truth to what he says about Obama. I’d rather go up against Hillary.
My dad just passed away two months ago in a hospital and I could not believe the drop in care quality compared to ten years ago. We had family there 24 hours a day for 10 days. Thank goodness we did. I hate to think of how dad would have been treated without accountability.
This is a small Midwestern city where pride is taken in the work ethic. My conclusion: our health care system is extremely sick.
I would like to know if he had techs or nurses attending him.

A lot of what he’s complaining about it is attitude and behavior. Things that the janitor could have done in a sense.

Just make sure you call the doctor the day before and ask him to take the ‘scope out of the freezer....

There are external hemorrhoids & internal hemorrhoids. With the later - unless you and Howard Stern wipe your @$$es with a cleaning rods - you are both full of "sh*t" with or without the shave, shower and shampoo.

Yes, I agree that care is definitely declining. Don’t know if government intervention is the solution.
You said what I wanted to say ... hang over the tub edge, etc ..
It’s caused by many things. Strain of ANY sort in that area can cause them. Sitting for LONG PERIODS of time can cause them. Ask a trucker.
If you have never been in a hospital unable to do anything for yourself...You have no idea of the trauma.
When it was over I was so glad to be out I did not even tell family since they were far away and could do nothing at the time.
7 days and not even a washcloth to the face
if you asked for medication 10 minutes early so they might get it on time...they never returned for 1-2 hours
floor never cleaned and the trash and bandages just piled up. e-coli infection within 10 days that threatened my limb and life and another weeks hospital stay and surgery
food delivered and since you could not feed yourself they removed it when you were sleeping... 40 pound weight loss in a month
