Fred won the first round, but stumbled when he could have address why he is the best, most consistent candidate.

I agree. Yep, those ‘mean old pharmaceutical companies’ are screwing us just like those ‘mean old oil companies’, and ‘mean old big business’ in general. /sarcasm

“Paul is there ONLY for the entertainment value and ratings...certainly not because he has a chance to be nominated.”

And to take time away from any real conservatives who might be there, like Fred.

I agree, this debate kind of highlights that Huck is not good when he has to take scrutiny or someone questions him.

He is not as slick.

"Ask any group of MA residents how Romneycare is working out for them!"

I have been saying for more than a year that this is the one issue that will honestly and effectively undermine Romney's campaign.

Personally, Romneycare has had no effect on me financially so far. I have my own Health Care Plan.

He never should have done it, despite what the beancounters say.

omigawd- wasn’t she just beyond anything? I had a teacher in 2nd grade who I kept being reminded of all through that debate.

This is the BEST one yet.

Mitt was right on with free market comments and the fact that pharma companies are not the bad guys. Also correct about fact that actual cost alternatives are not visible to drug patients. All I ever care and know about is my deductible.

HAlfway Scorecard :

1. Fred - Excellent on all 3 subjects

2. Rudy - this shocks me, but he has been ok so far.

3. John - was doing good until the Pharm company attack - starting to pander a little too much.

4. Mitt - did fine on foriegn Policy, slipped some as he started to spin.

5. Huck - has not given a straight answer that I like yet.

6. RuPaul - Why the F*** is he even in this debate?????

Except for Paul, the viewers of this debate are being treated to a genuine discussion of issues and ideas. I defy the Dems when their debate follws, to approach the level of intelligent and thoughtful discussion I’ve watched during the last hour. I congratulate ABC on the length and format of this debate and i congratulate the GOP candidates on the manner in which they have joined the battle.

Mitt gives signs that he crumbles easily under pressure.

I called once already.

I called the 800 number, pressed 1 for news. The guy tried to explain that Hunter didn’t make the criteria.

I told him that he is a nationally known candidate and that’s criteria enough.

Same here in Maine, if Joe would use the money for oil and not TV ads, there might be more heat for the old grannies. Hes running for office someday, so these are free ads for him...loser.
