I quoted your post from the article which said he made a phone call on Aristide’s behalf. That is one phone call too much. He also proudly signed a lobbying form supporting his restortation to power. Those are facts, which can’ t be spun away. As I said, I rather like Fred, though Paul is better. All I want is a single standard for both.

This is fun. No polling data ahead of time, just voting. Good stuff.

Even more fun, we're getting results by phone. I wish they would update that Excel file, though.

Here are the rules for how the WY caucus distributes its delegates and what "alternates" are.

“In that graphic, they put Fred eblow Ron Paul AND they have a picture of Giuliani when he’s likely to get ZERO support from WY!! What is up with the media?!!?!!?”

They have candidates with identical support (eg zero) listed alphabetically. If Thompson had more desire to win, fire in the belly, etc, he would have changed his name to Fred Aardvark to prepare for this eventuality...

IMHO the trend indicates all 50 states eventually holding their primary on the same day. FYI I prefer meaningful primary seasons culminating in truly political conventions over slick marketing campaigns leading to infomercial coronations.

"They have candidates with identical support (eg zero) listed alphabetically."

Doh, I didn't think of that! Still doesn't explain why the picture of Giuliani when he's fully expected to remain at zero........

I was wondering about that too.

The Giuliani-apologists have been using the excuse that 'Rudy didn't spend any time in Iowa' for his abysmal and embarrassing performance there (in spite of his incredible name recognition--name recogntion that millions and millions of dollars could not buy).

Well, hardly anyone spent any time in Wyoming either, yet Rudy still has the huge 'name recognition' advantage that any candidate could ONLY DREAM OF.

So what will the Rudy-apologists use as an excuse for THIS poor performance??? I suggest it is because Rudy is a disgusting candidate to social conservatives.

These guys sure aren’t updating their spreadsheet. I know some guys are getting telephone updates, so maybe if those are posted with a notation of “via telephone” that helps.

Isn't propaganda great? You can take things out of context. You can tweak your words so that they sound true but ~snap~ you're a liar.

Hey, if it weren't for out-of-context distortions, half of the posters on FR wouldn't have anything to post.

Rudy is basing his campaign on waiting until Florida, lost Iowa big time and is not expecting much from NH. The MSM are fine with that and keep portraying him as a leading candidate. Thompson is waiting for South Carolina and comes in third in Iowa and today there are articles calling for him to drop out. The media bias is incredible to behold.

I’m having a hard time getting that spreadsheet update. Are you linking directly to the Wyoming GOP site?

My mistake. For the sake of argument I’ll stipulate that Fred was ashamed and depressed when he signed the form supporting the restoration of Aristide to power. Does that make you feel better?

Whoa, BigEd has an update above.

Romney with 5 delegates and 2 alternates.

Duncan with 1 delegate and 1 alternate (which just got him a ticket to the convention).

That puts Romney leading at 41.7% Duncan at 8.3% and 50% undecided. haha

Look for the rural to be more of Thompson’s supporters...

LOL! Have you ever been to Wyoming? They've got nothing BUT rural. The only thing more rural than most of Wyoming would be Ted Kazynski style dugouts in the woods.
