Dec 28 2007

TWO Albanian pimps trafficked a young woman into the UK then repeatedly raped her and forced her to work in a Crawley brothel.

The pair threatened to kill the Polish university student if she ran away.

She was eventually rescued by police.

Desperate to stop her testifying in the trial, the so-called "Albanian mafia" sent the 24-year-old harrowing messages, including pictures of a gravestone with her name and her sister's name carved on it.

Stefan Berdufi, 38, from Redhill, and 20-year-old Agim Qosja, from Merstham, subjected the girl to a campaign of abuse.

The victim, who can not be named for legal reasons, had to have sex with "six or seven" men in one day then give half her earnings to Berdufi.

At Guildford Crown Court last Wednesday, Berdufi was found guilty of two trafficking charges, controlling prostitution for gain, rape, sexual assault and blackmail.

Qosja was convicted of three counts of rape and one of sexual assault. He had earlier admitted two trafficking charges and controlling prostitution for gain.

Judge Neil Stewart told the defendants they would both remain in custody until they are sentenced on January 14.

Your “freedom loving” Albanians, canuck, want to be free to do their criminal and violent activities all over the world. One Albanian criminal you say? Actually there are gangs of Albanians all over Spain, Britain, Czech Republic, Greece, Italy, and other countries.

More ethnic sensitivity!

Look, it can be well established that the problem is not just with one of a few ethnic groups. There is something about being an immigrant that is likely to involve crime.

Here in the USA, we have this myth that immigrants “built the country” (which is not even true at all: the pioneers did that), and we dote on immigrant groups for political reasons. The fact is, though, that immigrants have always caused problems. Diversity is not strength. The jails are usually full of immigrants, and that is not a new thing.

Back in the 1800s, most jailed criminals in the USA were foreign-born, from Ireland, Germany, and even England. Immigrants were disproportionately represented in the criminal population. That doesn’t mean that all immigrants were criminals; but it does mean that immigration carries a cost. Certainly not all immigrants are worthwhile.

The Irish were the chief criminals in American cities in the 1800s. Then the Italians took over. Now it is the hispanics, mostly from México and Central America. There are several reasons for this, but the most obvious is that people who drift around from country to country are not always the best ones.

There also is the fact that the more dissimilar people are to their new country, the worse the fit, the more likely they are to have problems, and to regard the indigenous residents as potential prey. Albanians don’t really fit in England. Surprise, surprise, surprise!

You forgot the USA. The Albanian Mob is alive and well in Queens, the Bronx and the rest of NYC as well as New Jersey and likely many more places in the USA.

And they have been active for as long as they have been here. Back in the 1980's the Albanian Mafia tried to take out Rudy Giuliani. when he was US Attorney. But they were still a fairly small number then because there weren't that many Albanian Muslims here. Before the 1990's, most Albanians in the US were either Christian or nothing, but not Muslims. After the 1990's most who came here were Muslim, and the crime rate went up.

I remember this! His (Rudy) taking on the Albanian mob was brave indeed as they are ruthless and violent. There are LOTS that pretend to be Sicilian (having fled Hoxha's(sp?) Albania to Sicily) but are really Albanian.

I was chased and threatened by a group of nasty albanian creeps when living in Ridgewood, Queens...the reason? They noticed my Orthodox cross on the chain around my neck.

Wow! The guts that they have here in the US as immigrants!

I also got a threat on my blog on December 25th, telling me: "Talking about Kosova could be bad for you and your family's health" Apparently, I was only one of many anti-Kosovo independence bloggers who got the same warning. All I kept thinking was, "I am an American, damn it! Go to Hell!", and then I realized that "being an American" doesn't mean a damn thing to these people -- or even to our own government who let them in and who continues to protect them, instead of us.

Typical... Albanians think that intimidation works everywhere. This isn’t Kosovo, they are in for big surprise.
