Hillary Booed at NH Democratic Party Dinner (On Drudge)
Time ^ | 01/04/08

If the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s 100 Club dinner is any bell weather – Barack Obama will handily win here. When Obama, the dinner’s last speaker, took the stage the crowd surged forward chanting “O-bam-a” and “Fired Up, Ready to Go!” So many people pressed toward the stage that an announcer asked people to “please take their seats for safety concerns.”

By comparison Hillary was twice booed. The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you. The audience, particularly from Obama supporters (they were waving Obama signs) let out a noise that sounded like a thousand people collectively groaning.

Hillary must be planning a little “accident” for Obama in the near future...

Consider the fact that JFK Jr. was considering a primary run for the Senate seat from NY when.... OOOPS......

Wow, that's one of the nicest distillations of Hillary's weaknesses I've seen.

She's starting to look more and more like Norma Desmond.

Nice job.

I would welcome the election of a conservative black man as President of this country. I’m afraid that the people fall for that old “change chant” every time from the Democrats. It’s scary when it’s mouthed constantly by a candidate but then not defined. What kind of CHANGE specifically?! I wish voters would remember that a candidate can be too groomed, too smooth, and that all that glitters is not gold. If a liberal black man - or woman - is elected President, and the result of their “change” is similar to Jimmy Carter or Bill “the man from Hope” Clinton, I’m afraid it will hurt any future conservative black person’s chances if they should choose to run. Carter like to have insured that a liberal peanut farmer from Georgia would never be elected again about two or three years into his Presidency - well, actually he did insure it.

Your comments regarding "she who must not be named" are spot on.

I'd like to comment on this "...and she’s being upstaged by a charismatic, good looking, youthful fellow who’s the epitome of the “Rock the Vote” type candidate."

On a different site I made reference to osama obama as being the Seinfeld" candidate - a candidate about nothing. That stirred the Dhimmis up but good! Of course they are going to bristle at any criticism of their guy, but when asked to specify his principles, his "vision for America" or even his campaign promises, they can't say anything other than "He'll bring change". Morons!

Kudos to the FReeper who contemplated the Barack presidency where he is forced from his passive rhetoric by the immediacy of reality. Imagine the shock when he would realize that he can't just stand on the sideline and carp, and he can't just cut~n~run!

In the most important ways a Barack presidency wouldn't be noticeably different than a Bush one, other than that it would be even more disorganized. The closest thing to a "change of direction" that any Dhimmi will bring is like going from drinking the bathwater to drinking from the toilet.

What REALLY happened in Iowa: Mainstream Media permanently lost its decades-old role of selecting the Democrat nominee 1/4/08
Posted by Steve Boriss in DemNomination.
trackback

The biggest and longest-lasting decision that Iowa Democrats made this week was not who their Presidential nominee will be, but how this person will be selected from here on out. Exactly two years after MSNBC’s Howard Fineman wrote his prophetic column, and about 40 years since it all began, the “American Mainstream Media Party” (AMMP) is over. Consisting of national journalists, but operating more like its own political party, the AMMP’s single most important function came-up every four years — securing the Democratic nomination for the candidate with whom the mainstream media and the center-left Beltway establishment was most comfortable.

It all began in the 1960’s when a Vietnam War-torn Democratic Party was thrown into disarray, leading to the disastrous nomination of the unelectable George McGovern. Mainstream outlets rushed to fill this power vacuum by applying “objective” journalism techniques to steer Democratic voters to the “acceptable” candidate — for example by transforming Howard Dean’s innocent, high-spirited yelp into the crazed, blood-curdling scream of a madman, sending unwitting Democrat voters hurtling into the waiting arms of the lackluster, but elitist-pleasing John Kerry. Mission accomplished.

But as Fineman predicted, just as new grassroots blogo-spherics overcame Dan Rather’s last minute, “fake, but accurate,” forged memo prior to Bush’s reelection, they also overcame the AMMP’s efforts to foist an un-politically-talented, inexperienced, Beltway-establishment-pleasing Hillary Clinton on Iowa Primary voters. The nomination for the best Hillary-supporting actor may go to Wolf Blitzer for the CNN debate, and the nomination for most shameless suck-up to the Today Show’s Meredith Viera (see appalling video here). But this year, the nomination for the best nominators goes to the people of Iowa.

I didn't recognize our esteemed ex-presidents in the Woodstock picture before today. I guess we're not surprised she looks so disinterested while he's getting his jollies by copping a feel under the blanket from the El Camino.

The only greater disaster than a Clinton Administration would be an Obama Administration.

only a racist could make that statement. Obama may be a communist but he isn't evil

As I look at that picture, it reminds me of McCain in the debate saying he couldn’t make Woodstock like Hillary, he was “tied up at the time”

Thanks for posting this excellent summary of what the Iowa bs er cowcai really means:

“The biggest and longest-lasting decision that Iowa Democrats made this week was not who their Presidential nominee will be, but how this person will be selected from here on out. Exactly two years after MSNBC’s Howard Fineman wrote his prophetic column, and about 40 years since it all began, the “American Mainstream Media Party” (AMMP) is over. It appears that the MSM and American Mainstream Media Party are both becoming flushed down into the liberal cesspool hell.

The link below may be a better link for Fineman’s epitat for the American Mainstream Media Party.

Yes, she certainly could have that seat for life, but I'm quite sure that she has no interest in the Senate.

Unlike Teddy, who was authoring nation-transforming legislation within 2 years of his coronation, she doesn't legislate or advocate.

That is all true, except that remaining in the Senate gives her immunity from Federal Investigations. According to what Dick Morris said, that is why she ran for the Senate in the first place.

Well, I’m glad to see SOMEONE is having fun watching this disaster;) I’m sceered sh**less, someone not fit to run this nation or our military is going to win the democrat nomination. Someone not fit to walk in a true conservative’s shoes is going to win the republican nomination. Popcorn and beer, hell, pass the bourbon.

I wonder if Hildebeast will leak some of that damaging drug/sex/racist dirt she has on O-bama.

She'll get nasty, mean and vicious now that her royal destiny's been tampered with.
