Hillary Booed at NH Democratic Party Dinner (On Drudge)
Time ^ | 01/04/08

If the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s 100 Club dinner is any bell weather – Barack Obama will handily win here. When Obama, the dinner’s last speaker, took the stage the crowd surged forward chanting “O-bam-a” and “Fired Up, Ready to Go!” So many people pressed toward the stage that an announcer asked people to “please take their seats for safety concerns.”

By comparison Hillary was twice booed. The first time was when she said she has always and will continue to work for "change for you. The audience, particularly from Obama supporters (they were waving Obama signs) let out a noise that sounded like a thousand people collectively groaning.

I wonder if she had her security detail taking down names. Those people will be first against the wall, come the revolution coronation.

Obama has consistently polled better against Republican matchups than Hillary.

We should have been praying for a Hillary win methinks. She does lousy with R’s and isn’t that great with Independants. There is a huge Anti-Hillary constituency. If Obama wins the nomination it could be a long night and year. He is inspiring when he speaks in platitudes and he is the “outsider” imo. Hard to attack the guy as Hillary is finding out.

And as I have witnessed with so many even on this conservative site, most people don’t care about positions. They want a cross between bozo the clown, Brad Pitt, and Robin Williams to lead the way. Facts, values, and morals don’t matter.

“Okay, I give up, what the hell is “bell weather”? Proves I’m way too dumb to write for Time Magazine.”

>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

Bell weather is a sort of gloomy, nightmarish, fog. It is said to be the type of weather in which the famous Bell witch is most likely to appear to unwary voters. The cackle of the Bell witch is reputed to be the most frightening sound ever perceived by a sane person. Of course prolonged exposure may render them no longer sane. The history of the Bell witch is interesting, having first been documented in Tennessee in the early nineteenth century the witch is said to have reappeared in Park Ridge, Illinois soon after World War Two. Sightings were later reported on the Wellesley college campus and still later on the Yale Law campus. Strangely, the witch was later reported to be haunting the area around Little Rock, Arkansas and is credited by some with causing many strange deaths in the area. The next major cluster of Bell witch sightings occurred around the nation’s capital during the years following nineteen ninety two. During this period other strange deaths were reported. During the twenty first century there have been reports of strange cackling around Washington, DC as well as in New York state around Chappequa. Some say the Bell witch is just another disguise used by the master of deceit himself, we will probably never know for certain.

She got those boos the old-fashioned way. She earned them. They are well deserved. I hope more people will boo her as the campaign season continues.

One of the great things about this is that Hillary has done herself in. She’s been rallying young people to vote since the 1960s, and has pushed the “Rock the Vote” stuff ever since her lying husband was president. She figured that young people often vote liberal since they don’t yet pay high taxes or have children or other responsibilities.

But now that she’s finally in a position to run for president, she’s sixty years old, has been around forever, and she’s being upstaged by a charismatic, good looking, youthful fellow who’s the epitome of the “Rock the Vote” type candidate.

In addition, Hillary has pushed for affirmative action all her life, and now she’s finding that the race card still trumps the gender card. That’s particularly true when Oprah, the idol to a zillion women, has endorsed Obama.

And to top it off, Hillary is running as an “agent of change”, a theme which again helps Obama. She’s already been “co-president” for eight years, and in the news continuously for 15 years. Obama **actually** is new, not just posing as a new voice. Hell, he’s been around for such a short time that he hasn’t had time to do many flip-flops on issues, unlike Hillary.

All Hillary has left is the experience card, and that’s a flop because she’s never actually accomplished anything. She harmed the Arkansas educational system when placed in charge of it. Her health care scam was wildly unpopular and went down in flames. She’s accomplished nothing in seven years in the Senate. She’s flip-flopped all over the place on the Iraq War.

She’s in trouble. And it serves her right.

If a witch is involved in “bell weather” then maybe the article didn’t have a typo after all.

My choice is Fred Thompson and I’m hoping that the tringulation of an arkansaw hick, a rino, a ken doll, a new york lib, will leave an opening for a conservative as the votes get split in different states where no canidate can take more than one state.

I want McCain to win in NH, and put a stake in the Mass Ken doll and his Barbie wife and send them back to Utah where they can worship how ever they like, and Make money sending jobs american won’t do to China.

I have no fear of McCain getting the nomination, it aint happening.

The fight is going to be between lib and cons republicans.

The only Conservative Republican left in the race if Fred Thompson, sorry to you Duncan Hunter supporters, but truth is truth.

When Obama wins the dem nomination he is going to nearly impossible to beat by any canidate.

Fred is the one that can win this. I don’t want McCain but I fear that is the selection the media will give us if they can’t pursuade us to bring Huckabee along. They still control things to a large degree. I think Mitt is going to be rejected in NH and his campaign strategy is null and void while Rudy fades away.

Fred can win Wyoming and South Carolina and bring momentum to a state like Florida where he led in the polls for a brief time.

If McCain wins NH I believe it will play out the way I stated above. Fear not McCain, he’s the media darling, and we still got Bush. The republican party will never elect him president, ever. He’s living in the media created delousion of the centrist republican. A centrist Republican will never defeat a Democrat for the Presidency.

We needed for Clinton, Inc. to be the Demagogue candidate.

It was inevitable that Hillary would implode, we just wanted it to be AFTER the Democratic convention.

Agreed. Obama is a much more formidable candidate.

Perhaps pointless corporate sock-puppets don’t make the best candidates. Well, pointless except for the ‘First Wives Club’ anti-male feminism.

At her speech last night, she was surrounded by Bubba and Madeline Halfbright.

Ah yes, Mad Halfbright. Below a reminder of one of Mad's great accomplishments.

“When Obama wins the dem nomination he is going to nearly impossible to beat by any canidate.”

I wonder why that is so hard for some people here to get?

They are so obsessed with getting even with the Clintions, that they are setting themselves up for Obama running right over us.

I guess they think just making fun of his middle name will be the only thing they need to beat him.
