"We're proud to endorse Senator Thompson for president because he has a long track record of supporting pro-life principles," stated Steven Ertelt, President of Right to Life of Wyoming. "Senator Thompson had a 100% pro-life voting record during his tenure in Congress. Today, he supports overturning the Roe v Wade decision which allowed for unlimited abortions, he opposes euthanasia, and he opposes forcing taxpayers to fund scientific research that requires the destruction of human life."
Right to Life of Wyoming (RTLW) is the state affiliate of the National Right to Life Committee which has endorsed Senator Thompson for President, along with 13 other state affiliates.
"I'm blessed and honored to have the endorsement of the Right to Life of Wyoming for President of the United States," said Senator Thompson. "Thirteen right to life organizations from coast to coast have voted to endorse my candidacy, and more likely will, because they know I have stood with them yesterday, I stand with them today, and will stand with them tomorrow. They know I have the ability to win this election. They know I believe in the sanctity of life and as President I will do all that I can do to protect life."

Trust Dr. Wanda Franz of National Right to Life. If a woman of her standing and dedication to the cause of life will stand up for Fred Thompson, us humble rubes on Free Republic should perhaps give benefit of the doubt...
It’s an unsigned doc. Anybody could have filled that out.
You're right, except that Wyoming is having caucuses, like Iowa. They will have one caucus in each of the 23 county seats. (Weirdly, 11 cacuses will elect 1 delegate each, 11 will elect one alternate delegate each, and 1 will elect both a delegate and an alternate.)
I have to tell you, most every time I watch and listen to Fred speak, I get the same emotional rush that I did back when "the Gipper" spoke.
It was about 2:30 AM this morning when I found an audio link first to Fred's remarks to his faithful in Iowa. When he made the statement "It's about OUR COUNTRY!", I shouted yes so loud it woke up my wife who thought I was having a medical moment. LOL
I make no bones about it, there is no one on either side of the aisle that Fred Dalton Thompson has, even closely fit to lead this republic. I get it. And my deepest hope is that in time so will enough of the rest of the country.
And Wyoming is losing half it’s delegates to the convention because they flipped the RNC the bird and held their caucus early. NH, SC, Michigan and Florida are also losing delegates for going early. Iowa wasn’t penalized.
Just 23 sites for that big, wide ol’ state? Hardly seems practical for their situation.
I just donated $100 to Fred. This is the very first time ever I have made a political donation. I did it, because however small it is, if there’s a chance it will make a difference, then it will be worth it.
For those who have not seen the video you mentioned, it’s a real upper and Fred is a genuine class act.
In that country, if you don't travel 40 miles, you're still on your own property. Also they all drive 100 mph.
I know it can be appealing and I'm sticking to my tag line for it always proves to be right my FRiend. ; )
No frill's in THAT one only to be gone tomorrow!
I love your tag line.
We’ve heard from so many people who are making their first ever political donations to Fred. I think it’s a strong, positive sign. Thank you for investing in him and our future.
Fred Thompson picks up the endorsement of another of the old guard conservative lobbyist set.
Hm.
Fred could win the nomination, the Presidency and single-handedly find and defeat all the Islamofascists...
and Fox News would still ignore him
I did donate to the Swift Boat Vets last year.. but this year marks my first year ever donating to a campaign.
I hope it doesn’t go for nothing.
not last year... in 04...
seems like yesterday...
Might be related to the fact that he is the only movement conservative who will be in the debates this weekend, don't you think?
Thanks for the info! I thought they had a regular primary where every registered voter gets to vote! These caucus procedures are wierd! GO FRED!
The Wyoming Caucus is tomorrow night by the way.”
Haven’t heard even a whisper of that in the media, and I live in Reno area.
Remember, in a caucus, every registered voter gets to vote, IF THEY SHOW UP!
Hm.
Endorsements are a b!tch, "right"?
Although my glass isn't full, it's still half full and NOT half empty.
Regards,
EG
