Did the weakest Dem candidate for the general election won tonight? I think so.
By sending forth Hussein Osama out of Iowa, Democrats have unwittingly weakened their general election prospects.
Hussein's exotic mixture of radical liberalism, Kwanzaa Socialism, antipathy towards the unborn, and weakness against his jihadi brethren will all come back to destroy him against almost any Republican opponent, even the snake-grope from Hope.
I think we as Republicans should be celebrating tonight at the coronation of Hussein, in whose presence millions of Democrat women, from elementary school teachers to journalism majors to law school grads to dykes on bikes will go weak in their knees.
As defenders of this great Republic, and of the pinnacle of Western civilization that it represents, we should all come together tonight and agree on a common strategy that will keep the White House from becoming a madrassa.
God Bless America, Land of the Free.
Mrs. Obama is a liability that will begin to be exploited by the Clintons.
He is the rats strongest candidate.
Most diehard Republicans I know say they could at least stomach seeing Obama on TV for the next 4 years. OTOH, the thought of Hillary's grating voice, her plastic affect, and the general sliminess of Her Highness makes even the most lukewarm Republican want to crawl across ground glass to vote against her (with a few notable exceptions, mostly found on this website, who seem to think that a Hillary would "teach the Republicans a lesson").
I disagree, Huck would be a strong candidate. He would do best against Obama, then Hillary. Edwards would do best against him.

Obama is the most attractive candidate (by far), both personally and politically, but the electorate is going to consider him too naive, a babe in the woods, rather sweet but hardly someone to whom they would entrust the future of their children or the U.S.A.
Television is not kind to John Edwards or Hillary Clinton. Edwards is no doubt effective in a courtroom, but the television camera is far too revealing.
Huckabee, on the other hand, is a master of communication, including television, that John Kennedy and Ronald Reagan might envy. The television camera loves him.
It loves Romney too. It insists that he is a straight shooter--that you can believe what he says--and that he is a tower of strength, moral, physical, and intellectual, on which you can always depend.
Giuliani does well on TV too. It insists that he is a savvy, experienced sophisticate, who's been everywhere and seen everything--including 9/11--and can handle anything--including suicidal terrorists and decadent (and suicidal) "Liberals".
Unfortunately (for them) the Democrats are running against George W. Bush, and he's not a candidate. Against any likely Republican nominee, the three Democrat frontrunners don't stand a chance.
The Republicans are going to win the White House and both houses of Congress in November.
(Unless they decide to commit political suicide.)

Huckabee... I have no words for Huckabee, other than, who in their right mind, and with any, erm, mind, would, *ever*, would vote for him after that foreign policy 4-th grader paper he issued ? Not even going to touch all the taxing, and pardoning, and government-expanding, and ‘preacher-in-chief’ stuff.
Why can’t Iowans tell that he’s a Muslim terrorist sympathizer? Even libs can’t be this stupid!
Obama will be harder to beat than Hillary. If Thompson or McCain is the Rep nominee, it will be quite a contrast in ages. Obama could get more young people to vote, which could have an impact in key states.
I'm not really aware of that. What did she do? In any case, if they realize that she is a liability, they probably will hide her for a while.
You’ve *got* to be joking ? You *honestly* believe a guy who once said that women should submit to their husbands could actually get elected in the general ? The MSM would play that stuff on an infinite loop. (Not to mention it bugs me almost more than his expansion of the AK govm’t from 1B to 6B/year). Yea. That’s 6x. And you can’t tell me he grew the economy in AK by a factor of 6.

Obama is an AA bumpkin, and even if he is as corrupt as Clinton (which I doubt, but maybe he is just better at faking it), he won't have nearly as strong a ground operation to flesh things out. Obama may be further to the left, but he would be less effective, and to me, that translates to being less dangerous for America.

Obama is already moving his rhetoric toward the center of the political spectrum. I think he is going to be tough to beat in November, and I’m quite sure that Mike Huckabee would have no chance at all against him.
No. He is the best general election candidate on their side and we will very likely lose to him. I’m gonna make a ton of cash on intrade in the process but it’s sad.
Many people on this site are enjoying attacking other Republicans. Good. Enjoy the years of Obama, you’re asking for it.
He wasn’t overly concerned about The Huckster’s win and was of the mindset Hillary was the biggest loser in Iowa.
He was asked if he would take Huck’s call tomorrow if he did call and try to make up and Rush said Huck was NOT going to make that call.
I think Rush will try and take Huck out completely, starting with the 1st hour of his show. Will be fun to be tuned in.
