>> Hard to believe Huckabee and the liberal mainstream media pulled this off- I am not amazed as the liberal media has too much power. <<

Hard to believe the solidly pro-life, pro-gun, pro-family, tax reforming Governor who supported FreeRepublic more than any other elected official in history is now tarred on FR as a "socialist RINO puppet of the mainstream media", because he polls higher than McCain's drab buddy from Tennesssee that people here have come to blindly worship.

I hearby project Fred Thompson the winner in Iowa.
14% of the vote while ignored by the MSN is wonderful.

"Yes, I did a radio show from the FReeper Ball that night and interviewed Huckabee. I hope his band will play at Fred’s inauguration."

Yes, I remember. And do you remember when Huck said on stage, he will play in his band for the Freepers the night he is President.

HE didn’t have to. The MSM did it all for free.

I guess that the “Oprah” factor really did work for Barack in Iowa...

Why not go with the facts?

They (facts) just get in the way.

Next important question: Is Iowa a winner take all system?

Thanks. It sounded like it had real legs if Chris Wallace picked it up so fast.

Do you think he’ll be easier to beat in the Presidential election?

Obama’s rhetoric such as, an ‘unbalanced economy’ is so moronic, he’d fail ECON 101. Yes, easy.

Well, I did hear that the Evangelicals got real organized for this one and centered it around Huckabee. I mean, if the Evangelicals get going around a candidate, the fact of the matter is that you’re just not going to elect a President and go against that group... That’s just the way it is...

Don't worry so much.

I am an evangelical, and I know a lot evangelicals - and almost none of them want Huckabee.

Also, I remember Iowa in 1987.

He finished 2nd place, and was all over ABCCNNNBCCBS saying he was going to "take off like a doggone rocket ship here!"

Yeah, right.

Ashtrays are flying in the Clinton camp!

Bill will try to calm her down by reminding her that he only got 3% of the vote in Iowa in '92 and still ended up being a two term President. She'll probably throw an iron from the hotel closet at him.

PS: No ashtrays, the Clinton camp is a strictly non smoking environment as per the fuhrer. No cigars for Bill.
