Former Minnesota Gov. Jesse Ventura and his strongly held, sometimes outrageous opinions will soon be back on public display in his new book, "Don't Start the Revolution Without Me."
The book - part Mexico travelogue, part memoir, part screed - details his brushes with famous people; his feelings about his governorship; and hints, teases and jokes about a possible 2008 run for president.
In the book, co-written with author Dick Russell, Ventura says he suggested to then-President Clinton that certain disputed Israeli sites should be blown up to stop the fighting over them; he consulted with then-Vice President Al Gore about a Minnesota abortion debate; and he offered to be Sen. John McCain's running mate in 2000, if the Republican ran as an independent candidate.

Jesse Ventura is STILL bitter! He cannot grasp the fact that he was a one term governer who was berated by his constituents (and the media jackals!!!) after many of them woke up and realized what they did by voting him in office.
I love the quote he got from ALGORE:
'You throw everything else out of the equation, and you go with what you believe is right'
At least Al is following his own advice on his one man global warming crusade.
Jesse is just another bitter has-been who cannot come to terms that his time has passed.
Hunter for President, Ventura for Vice-President.

He was also being himself as a first-generation SEAL.
Not quite a SEAL.
Jesse says antyime anytwhere, punk. :)
Hey Jesse! (meat head) How about digging huge sewage lagoons in these areas instead, and just use them for waste treatment? Throw some carp in there for the die hard Jihadists to fish and feed themselves with. Your friend Hulkster

Was he a seal or not? I really do not know... I always thought he was. Did he ring the bell?

He was not a SEAL and not in Viet Nam. He was a Navy UDT in the Philippines. He liked to vaguely suggest that he was a SE Asia snake eater but not quite.
I believe something like UDT but not SEAL. Something like that.
Jesse Ventura = Assh*le...period.
being in an UDT wasnt an easy thing now or then.
Why all the hatin’ on Jesse?
I respect him, if for only one interview that I witnessed,
where he told some welfare queens that it wasn’t the government’s problem if they chose the wrong guy to get pregnant by.
We’re seeing/hearing the after effects of years of steroid abuse....
Self promoting huckster...everything is alway’s “ME! ME! ME!” with him...
No question UDT is a tough assignment. Not SEAL level, from what I’ve read and been told (by a SEAL.)
Every politician has at least one golden soundbite that appeals to everyone...
Not hatin' the guy, just being honest and overtly critical...he became such a baby about everything that it tainted the few good things he did accomplish.
Didn’t he do commentary for the XFL (or whatever the h*ll it was called)?
