I really hope he endorses Romney. We need all the help we can get.

More rumors from everyone but Fred.
To: camerakid400
Several Republican officials close to Fred Thompsons presidential campaign said they expect the candidate will drop out of the race within days if he finishes poorly in Thursdays Iowa caucus. Ahhhh yes, anonymous sources......real reliable info her...LOL! The anti-Fred's showing their desperation again....sheesh when will they learn.

This is just gossip. Fred is in until at least after Super Tuesday.
Hunter will be in right up to the convention. Count on it.

Nope. Fred will come in a close 3rd or even a 2nd tomorrow. He will NOT be dropping out. McCain may decide to give his supporters to Fred, though.

I cant really believe this.
Why would you drop out after the first caucus when you place above Ron and Duncan?
If Fred is really saying this, hes lazier than the press has even made him out to be.
And I want the money back I sent this week to his campaign.

The Thompson Campaign filed corrected paper work for the Texas Primary today...
Does not sound like something one would do if leaving the field does it.
Nice try though...

Over already? That would be a disappointment. Will he also drop out of the debates? (He says he won’t but ...)

But they note that there would be a logic to doing so soon, in order to help a friend and colleague at a moment when he needs it most. In turn, Thompson might be named attorney general in a McCain administration.Makes no sense. Fred isn't looking for a job, certainly not attorney general. I smell BS.
