See all the above.

Add to them:

Ramos and Compean

Refusing to support English as an official language

The Dubai Port Scam

Harriet Miers Scam

Trying to find a two state “solution” to the Israeli “problem”

Sucking up to Putie and then mindlessly aggrevating him with an inadequate missle base on his borders

The endless flow of dangerous Red Chinese junk into America

His union with the “Global Warming” wackos

His failure to hold the Clintons repsonsible for trashing the White House.

His violation of his campaign promise not to enact any new gun laws by stating he would sign a renewal (Re-NEW-al) of the “assault” rifle ban.

His and Rice’s clumsy handling of the Pakistan situation by sending Bhutto back there.

Bush is either

a) a man of low intellect (defintely possible considering his cumulative average in college - just a point or two above Kerry)or

b) a shameless tool of the international globalist conspiracy, or

c) BOTH.

Compassionate Conservative = COUNTERFIT Conservative

It goes on and on.

If THAT is your barometer of a great President, it explains your failure to accurately assess the Bush catastrophy.

And he’s NOT the first President to deal with a terrorist threat. Who was President during the Barbary Wars? Jefferson or Madison? I can’t remember.

Bush did accomplish a great military victory in Afghanistan and in Iraq. But then he blew it by assuming thesew people think like us and sould be relied on to behave like civilized westerners. It took him how many years and how many dead Americans to realize that only a strong military force could intimidate the “insurgents”?

Failed to protect our borders. Failed to slow the Democrat agenda of increasing the size of government. Signed off on budgets without a whimper. Failed to roll back any of the EO crap his Dad and Slick Willy signed.

Bush's "conservative" accomplishments barely equal out his "socialist" accomplishments like No Child Left Behind and the Medicare Drug Giveaway programs we still can't figure out how to pay for. Fighting the WoT is great, but fight it like a War and not a damn police action.

Thanks, but if this is what we can expect from Rudy McHuckaromney... then no Thanks.

O.K.

Maybe he wasn’t that bad. But he was far from perfect.

He did screw up on a number of issues and on the Kyoto Treaty he is backpedalling now that he has embraced his
“holistic” self and joined the Global Warming wackos.

I wouldn't call him a "catastrophy", but he ain't a "conservative" either. We knew that before the elections in 2000.

What we need to do is learn from this lesson and elect a real conservative this time. We even have two, who are actually running, who fit the bill. Hunter and Thompson.

What we cannot afford is to run another "Democrat-lite" Republican.

Barbary Wars? I meant in our time. Sure, he has left us wanting, but I give him a great deal of credit for his actions. Of course, he should have appointed you as “grandmaster tactician”, but no one is perfect, not even thsoe who can make bullet lists and power point presentations, while not having to be accountable.

Bush never backs down. Might as well hang up your argument if you start believing the hype that says otherwise.

I thought he agreed with the Global Warming crowd. Didn’t he sign some bill that mandates the phase out of incandescent light bulbs ?

I think either one of us could have done a better job than Rice has.

My President is NOT Ronaldus Maximus. He has made several policy decisions I wholeheartedly disagree with, including pusing amnasty, and sat on his hands while both sides of the asile pushed the pork wagon. That said, even at the worst moments of his entire Presidency...he was not the other guys.

In seven years of throwing every possible gaffe in his face in an attempt to make him look like an abject moron...the press has failed time and again by "misunderestimating" him. This is because he is, at core, an honest man who cares about this nation, and has been forced to do what he has done both by enemies without and within. He has made the best of being handed a nightmare; he has been blamed for every error of the sticky-handed adolescent DISBARRED AND IMPEACHED former president, and has been given none of the credit for all that has been done on his watch. Through the Patriot Act and his efforts, we have not seen a sucessful terror attack on American soil, but you can bet if one slips though in the next hundred years the Democrats will blame it on him.

His major failing has come from the same horrible fault that almost every elected official in My Party seems to fall prey to, and that is some kind of insane need "to get along" with political rivals who will never, ever give us the same courtesy. Each and every attach that has been made upon him, our policies and America itself should have been dealt with by a 5:30pm news conferance (to drag the reporters out after "working hours") where he should have accused them of bias flat in their faces. If Nancy Pelosi would have been verbally b-slapped the first time she stuck her ugly mug into the public press, things would be running much smoother now.

I had a history professor who said "Democracy is absolutely the worst form of government...except for the rest." The same should be said of George Bush. No one is perfect, sometimes you shoot from the hip and do your best, and all man's plans and dreams have no guarantee. W has done as good a job as you could possibly expect overall, faced with the constant stream of the insane opposition who would rather this country go down in glowing destruction than give one nod of thanks to George Bush.

Amen! I have not faltered one day in my support of President Bush and my support will continue through to his last day in office.

I only hope the next President can fill his shoes!

Sadly, the President only gets to accept or decline whole pieces of legislation. That light bulb ban is one paragraph in the 822 page Energy Bill...which is how Congress gets what they want by tucking something ugly into a large bill.

I agree with you about Thompson and Hunter, but am getting a sinking feeling that we get with Romney, Huckleberry or JulieAnnie.
