Maybe he wasn’t that bad. But he was far from perfect.

He did screw up on a number of issues and on the Kyoto Treaty he is backpedalling now that he has embraced his
“holistic” self and joined the Global Warming wackos.

Bush never backs down. Might as well hang up your argument if you start believing the hype that says otherwise.

Perhaps. Many of these ‘mistakes’ that he’s made will be forgotten in time as they are incconsequential in the long term.

50 years from now nobody will remember or care that he backed Arlen Specter in the primary. But we will remember his stand against Islamic extremists. When Social Security is bankrupt, we will wish that we had followed his path of privatization.

60 years ago the world was bashing Harry Truman as a failure. Today he is remembered differently.
