Thank you for Today's Thread, GeeBee, and to Everyone for the Adorable Graphics that are a Delight to the Eyes! Nan, Emma has Grown So Much, and is Beautiful!
My Husband Snapped a Pic of a Wild, Smokey-Gray Colored Kitty that's been Showing Up Occasionally Here where I Live, and I Bought Some Catfood to See if the Kitty could be Encouraged to Stick Around. But he Comes Here So Seldom, I Hope he Happens to Visit when I Put Out the Food!

Good Afternoon (((Kitty)))
Nice picture of such a beautiful cat. I love that smoke color. I had a cat as a child like this. I hope this kitty visits you again soon!

How pretty that cat is. If you keep feeding it, it will stay with you I believe, unless he/she has a home. Is there someone close enough to you that it could belong to, Kitty?
Hope you are having a wonderful Jan.2, 2008!!

We have a black cat named Spenser that looks just like that. He showed up here when he was a tiny kitten and asked if he could live here. You can see him if you click on my name.

Dear Kitty, you and your husband are exceptional photographers. I do find much beauty and poetry in your photos, a sense of contemplation. That is a very sweet cat there.
Now I will have to find and scan a photo I once took of this same type of smooth grey cat. He was also a neighborhood outdoor cat.
In the meantime, I will have other photos to share here starting this upcoming weekend. Stay tuned...;^)

Belated Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Poetry
Tatania (R.I.P.)
People just did not seem to understand
That I came from a very wild and far away land
Where 'Survival Of The Fittest' is a real as blood, crimson and warm
That may be washed away by a week long drenching Thunder Storm
Used by myself and other to stalk the weaker prey we seek
Who will help keep our stomachs from growling through another week
Guided by stealth and powered by muscles wondrously lithe
To glide in shadows where slender creatures slither and writhe
Or leap to tremendous heights as Gravity is blissfully defied
Amongst mingled Trees as tall as building and often just as wide
This was my World for years, yet Humans just refused to comprehend
That I was at the Top of that Food Chain, so they would stoically pretend
I was a much larger and more majestic relative of their Kitten
And in many ways that analogy is ironically fitting
Humans should watch their Kitten's very first attempts to leap and climb
Their Curtains. Then mark where splayed claws cling and take some time
To marvel and compare the Kitten's size and height achieved
With an open mind, since the result may be a bit hard to believe
That end result should be multiplied by a power slightly more than Ten
Before Humans attempt to put a Regal Cat in an unprotected display again!
