A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997. Over 200,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay.

Good morning, Rus and Nan. Hope the New Year is starting out great for you both.
I am starting out 2008 behind (so, what else is new? LOL). I have much e-mail and freepmail correspondence to tend to. I will get to it eventually, then I hope to be able to spend more time here than I've been able to lately. But, not today. I tend to my MIL on Wednesdays.

Thanks for getting Wednesday started for us GeeBee...
I am not sure I have anything new to post.. warm fuzzy here today is cold & snowing (we have about 9” on ground now with more to come.
Good day for soup/chili/
I need to go to various threads & save music here & there.. ..now that you have taught me how!
Walks will be in neighborhood which is fine as I have national park all around me. I just get concerned that my guys will run into neighbors yard up the ravine— it is 200+ feel but the dogs run freely .. Leash laws & uptight neighbors make it a concern

I dfid find a bit ago my battery charger & am charging my batteries for camera & will take some jewelry pix.. maybe of more than just what I wore New Year’s Eve.
Jewelry gives me a warm fuzzy !

G.B. It was 8 degrees when I got up and has warmed up to a hot 14.....I have on 2 pair socks and my cuddle duds and p.j.’s and robe. Getting ready to put my regular clothes on. We had a white yard and driveway this morning.
Sun is out now, the road looks thawed some by driveway is still covered. Not deep! Just laying on driveway...too cold to melt but it will later, I hope. I don’t go out in it unless its completely clear....Afraid of running into frozen places~
