If Fred gets a 3rd, it will help him. If he falls down and Rudy passes him, he is a goner. If Paul passes him, he is a goner. I am so sick and tired of Iowa and NH as determiners of our guy. Wait till Feb. 5. Then we can see who the masses want not just a few characters in two states with few electoral votes.

I believe Fred will come 3rd in Iowa!!! As you all know I am sure, there are 2 polls this week that have Fred third.
3rd would be huge! and a win in SC and its on to the WH.

The question should have been, "Do you favor withdrawing from Iraq in the next six months even if victory has not been achieved?" Along with, "Do you think the $10,000 per family of US taxpayer money has been worth it?"
Both questions together would be interesting, but of course, the order of asking is important.

This has been a problem for awhile. When President Bush first got elected a liberal office-mate said she didnt like him. I said I didnt love him either - he wasnt conservative enough for me. Agreed.
But it took a while for many people to realize that "Compassionate Conservatism" = "Nanny-State Socialism"

Do you favor a withdrawal of all United States military from Iraq within the next six months? That's a stupid question: Everyone "favors" it! Who WOULDN'T "favor" winning the freakin' war TOMORROW?

Fred Thompson will be on Mark Levin today! GO FRED! Then this evening Jeri Thompson will be on On The Record with Greta on Fox. :)

From what I see too many folks want out and they don’t want to think about the war. I talked to a soldier just home from Iraq this weekend......he gets a year stationed at Fort Drum......he’s thinking of going back early - says he will be bored and restless here knowing he could be back there. Go figure.

I know we should be happy that Hillary is in 3rd, but remember this John Edwards and Barack Obama are likely to win swing states of Ohio, Virginia and Missouri while Hillary would lose. I agree, I want to see Hillary win the nomination and really piss off the Obama and Edwards supporters in the process. If enough Obama and Edwards supporters stay home on election day (or vote Green), it could give Hillary the kind of butt kicking, in the general election, that she so richly deserves.

The price of victory is only steep until you compare it to the cost of not achieving victory. Or you compare it to more efficient means of achieving victory.
It's a shame it took so long for President Bush to change strategy and get the surge going.
I wonder what will happen
- after Mookie's cease fire ends
- after we pull out
That is, are the enemies just biding their time, or will the changes really take hold.

I’m not sure this represent a surge for Fred but I do think he still has a great chance of getting the nomination. I sent him some money today. Pony up people!
